That was surprising. The starter was doing great.

A lot of number changes that are throwing me off.

Every sport is done differently. Hockey, and to a degree basketball, you can't describe all the action so you have to edit on the fly, describing the action that matters. My hardest time is memorizing rosters.

I manage the town radio station. (wbnh.bedfordnh.org) A few years back I jumped into doing sports play by play, which I'd never done. This will be my 5th year doing football, hockey and basketball. We actually won a 2nd place state broadcasters award back in October. I have a lot more empathy for Dunleavy or anyone doing this, especially at my age when my brain isn't firing on all synapses. BTW if you like alternative rock, that's what we play the rest of the day. We upgraded our streaming and it sounds amazing.

A log splitter. When I bought my last cord of wood, a lot of pieces were too big and needed additional splitting.

The Leafs absolutely do have veto power. But everyone has a price. As for Arizona I think it could have been a good market. A lot of northern transplants live there. But the team was a basket case for years, longer than we have been. How good would Vegas be doing at the gate if they didn't come out of the chute as a cup contender?

That is not a certainty. Losing free cross-border access severely diminishes Buffalo's viability as an NHL market. We're okay for now but if this situation goes on for years, the Sabres future becomes unstable. There simply aren't enough fans here to support the team. Without Canada, Buffalo is basically Toledo.
