  1. If its Cockney, don't we then also have to rhyme with shoe? Call him Roo or Lou or Chew.
  2. Donovan and Howard both played for Everton
  3. Yeah, I'd say the US's problem is that they try to keep their talent in the MLS instead of letting them play in objectively better leagues in Europe.
  4. Not for nothing, but how did this guy not end up with the nickname of Tennis? I feel like we dropped the ball on that one, guys.
  5. https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/310545/rasmus-dahlin Puts him at 6-3 185, which isn't teeny. He's got some room on his frame, though.
  6. But are they going to give THREE auto berths? US and Mexico SHOULD make it anyways, but obviously that's not a guarantee.
  7. Looks like they came in fourth place in 1986: https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/belgium-at-the-2018-world-cup-schedule-scores-how-to-watch-eden-hazard-tv-and-live-stream-players-to-watch/
  8. From my completely uneducated guess, straight from the gut, I'd put them at about Championship. I feel like if you took the top tier of the MLS and stuck them in English League Football they'd settle in nicely in the middle of the pack of Championship with a possibility for promotion at some point.
  9. Yeah, these are all good signs, especially Weah. Getting time on PSG is a big deal.
  10. Spurs make 58m bid for Pulisic: https://soccer.nbcsports.com/2018/07/05/report-spurs-place-58-million-bid-for-u-s-star-christian-pulisic/?sf193183769=1
  11. Do what you like, wear what you like, be who you like. Life is too short to worry about what's cool.
  12. Do we need a Gilligan's Island OT thread?
  13. Winner of this match wins the Cup, at least that's my bet.
  14. I hate TG on twitter, but he's the best writer in the area IMO, bar none.
  15. My favorite thing about 15 is that it could really be his. If he ever really became a star he'd have a good look at the best NHLer in 15 ever, possibly in (American Big 4) sports. Look at this list, Starr is the clear winner at the moment: On this list of NHLers its Milt Schmidt, who I've never heard of: https://www.si.com/nhl/photos/2010/09/30greatest-nhl-players-by-jersey-number#15 #9 is obviously a bit tougher...
