Agreed and when healthy he and Kaleta were the Sabres two best penalty killers. He had a tough time scoring anything but dirty goals, but hustled played the body when healthy was always a great teamate. He really was no more than a third line checking center/winger that had to play at higher levels because of the Sabres lack of center talent. Much better than Goose IMO but typical of Buffalo's lack of talent on the top end. He got blamed for front office ineptitude...

Nice definition, except I see no reference to a penal :w00t: code so therefore it must reference common law and therefore be referred to a civil court or a mediator... Actually I think he should step down because he could be charged as a co-defendent and co-conspirator. RICO provisions may apply.

My understanding is if "meddling" is a universal term then it would fall under old English common law and therefore be part of civil law whereas TP would only be subject to fines. If "Meddling" is a term that under your understanding would require criminal punishment, then a legislative reference would need to be established with some specificity to hockey. I think there are plenty of us who could make the language broad enough and watered down enough to fit any circumstances you might foresee. However, I think I could easily organize a 1/3 opposition to any proposal from even being considered on the floor. In fact I think I could achieve a majority. Just my opionion. But this is getting interesting if not inane. So, I propose a tabling of the legislation to some time in the future... in a galaxy far far away...

Over the top, I think this preposterous. First we do not know what kind of relationship Pegula has with hockey decisions and if he really was meddling would Darcy still be here? Second, I think it is way too early in his ownership history to have any opinion one way or another on his management strategy even if he is as you suggest, meddling. Sometimes a little meddling can be good and other times bad, I think the jury should not even be called at this point and only an on going investigation should be announced.

At least the Sabres still have a chance to finish 5th or even 3rd from last, I have faith in Miller, keep Enroth on the bench. Solidifies my thought that Miller is not prime-time....

I wish DR to be gone except the alternatives out there are unclear. I am not confident of him as a high end talent evaluator which is what the Sabres need. He seems to be able to find diamonds in the rough just not high grade gems in the diamonds. P.S Sabres have enough talent to finish 9th or tenth next year too so forget Conner what's his name, not gonna happen. My bet though is Darcy is still here and Miller will be gone next year for draft picks

So, looks like Enroth is playing to be the starting goaltender here. Saw a little of Hasek in those scrambles in front of net. Really likin it, can you say bye, bye, Miller helo Number #1 goaltender... Not sure of the reality of the above thought, but loving the effort even after a goal was scored on him.

I am not sure all the core need to be eliminated, but Miller is not a prime time goaltender when it is important. He folded in the Winter classic, on team USA and during the regular season. He can get you close, he just can't seal the deal. HIs best games are when it is not that big a deal during the regular season. He has moments of brilliance which is why everyone gets excited, but at times, and often at the worst time for the team he lays an egg of a game, which is why he is so frustrating as a goaltender. So if the Sabres can get a couple of first rounders or a goal scorer with some moxie and a first rounder, I say trade him.

Miller is a choker in critical games. Enroth is not a number 1 goal tender.

Glad I couldn't watch the game, wtf happened. Miller went to lunch at the end of the first and then it continued with the Sabres fragile defense. Off, disappointing, so much for the season... I agree, the only thing is consider sending Miller and Vanek to teams with top 3 draft picks before or during the draft. I am not sure I would wait till later, still wondering if this draft's top guys are worth reaching that high though. None of them strike as guys to build a team around from what I have read. Just saying, not sure if the top three are all they are cracked up to be?

Not sure that I am worried about the Rangers. According to the fans down here, they could implode at any moment. They are playing better since the trade deadline but Torts is killing the team and their fragile egos are having issues. I am more worried about WPeg because they seem to be playing better and have the Sabres number as of late...

So the Sabres last 4 games include Rangers, Winnipeg, Pittsburgh and the Islanders. Both brutal, but gives Buffalo a fighters chance playing two, possibly three of the teams the Sabres are chasing. Winnipeg plays Carolina, Islanders, Buffalo and Washington.... Hmmm

It doesn't redeem him for all the shitt play all year, but nice goal. Still want him gone by draft time.
