  1. Clutterbuck to Isle being reported.
  2. Looks like this might turn into another Bash Darcy thread:
  3. You can listen to the draft on NHL website. No video :(
  4. Poile and Izerman talking? Trade?
  5. Gut said Barkov would go up. Wow.
  6. Myers part of push on Canes according to Sports Insider
  7. So now that Vinny Lecavalier is going to be bought out should the Sabres have any interest in him or will he still be too expensive or have any interest in still playing. What is his physical condition.
  8. Amazing video capture by goal-cam. These new hybrid cameras that have frames large enough to do pics like that even if enhanced a little bit are still amazing. You should check out the lastest version of my original full-frame sensor Canon, mine is the Mark II 1DS, the new Mark II 1Dx. It does full frame video as well as stills and can basically shoot in the dark. http://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/cameras/eos-cameras/eos-1d-x-body
  9. That was a classic. Still a great series ending very strangely. Both teams gave it their all.... P.S. for all the plays the Bruins got away with the Hawks got in plenty of butt ends they were not caught inflcting. Both teams played with nasty streaks and yet still played hard.
  10. Yeh, sorry, was thinking about the shift just before the tying goal with goaltender pulled. I actually thought the third line was still on the ice for the tying up goal until I saw the box score and realized I was wrong. The third line must have come on just before that, I remember thinking they had some energy before the Toews tied it up. And then just after the tying goal where Boston had it in Chi zone with Toews and Kane on the ice and not being able to clear from their own end. Both teams looked spent, but the Chi town's third liners had some jump with the clincher. Sorry had one eye on the game and one eye putting my sleeping boys in their bed.
  11. Interesting strategy the last period. Kane and Toews played most of it and the third and fourth line sat, same with Boston. Yet in the last minute, they sat and looked spent, so Quennville decided to put the third and fourth lines on and got two goals against and obviously tired B defense. They had jump and because they had been sitting most of the period. I don't if it was planned but it worked out brilliantly for Chicago.
  12. Can't wait to see what Isaakson can do this year. He was a late round draft choice out of High School with mad skills and avg. 2 goals per game. Like most college players he mostly sat his first two years, but showed more of his ability last year. If this is a break out year for this young guy, the Sabres may actually have a first line center in two years. One could only hope he is a diamond in the rough.
  13. A friend of mine and my former sports editor and avid hockey fan wrote this a few years back and he sent it to me recently after watching the last 4 games. I couldn't agree with him more about the imagery: http://kuklaskorner....ockey_really_is. He is a Strangers unfortunately, but love's RJ. I still hate the Bruins, but Patrick Kane is a jerk, so I root for Paille, but all in all Boston fans sucks so I am rooting for the Hawks.
  14. Quoting from Roto World: Trade talks for Letang could heat up a the general managers' meeting on Wednesday. ? Does anyone know if we might see some announcements out of this meeting or is more everyone keeps things close to the vest till right before draft day?
  15. And we are forgetting Rockey of the Year Dave Andreychuk as well as Peter McNabb, though he did most of his damage with the Bruins as well for overall 2 way players in Craig Ramsey and Don Luce. This is a pathetic effort... nothing to see here... move along.
  16. Barkov if the Sabres can get up to draft him.... Put Ennis on that line to the wing and move Hodgson down. Or Corey Tropp if possible.
  17. Either way pretty lame, you screwed up when you leave off the French Connection, Danny Gare etc. The quiz had them all,so I wonder if it was a typo. Really, I would put Schoeny ahead of most of the guys they listed. Common, the Cashman Fight and the Koharski comment alone gets him in the top 10.
  18. Stop it, you are spooling all our fun and putting a dent into our conspiracy theories... What I want to know is what Pegula knows and when did he know it?
  19. Had Hodgson up to 20% last night. Gotta get Sabres Nation to get out and vote and vote often, if nothing else to avoid a Datsyuk sweep.
  20. I agree is some cases fans do, but in the Stafford case there was both foresight and hindsight :censored: and I have been a Stafford hater as far as his play goes, not him personally, for a lot longer than that the signing of his contract. His under-performance with moments of tantelizing play during his contract year was obvious to even a 1st grader. So nice hyperbole, but the signing of Stafford was nuts in the opinion of many of us and the Leino contract was an obvious reach for many of us as well, though many had hope he could come through. The Sabres needed a center so badly after the tin man became an egg on a wall... But you don't need to be soothsayer to see either of these scenarios as part of Darcy's many blunders. I have been positive on many players. Still love Vanek, Foligno, Enis, McNabb, Weber, Sekera, Erhoff, Ott,, been impressed with Sulzer and Psysk and Tropp. But I am really confused by Myers and frustrated with the Diva that is Miller, and Grigs and wish Darcy could find a class A center.
  21. As long as you get a gajabillion twitter followers you might get hired by the Huffington post...and then get a chance to return home... So which avatar is this guy. I say we reopen the trail because of new evidence...
  22. Too bad you are going into the world of reruns. The Stang is a nice twist..sigh... learning to drive stick eh?, been doing that since my Dad's Volvo in the snow in Buffalo. Still, don't burn out the clutch... only rubber.
