I came from beer league to watch second period.. disastrous... went to bed after checked the score this am... power play a nightmare... put Ollie back on no 1 pp... PS Beer league team won 6-1. Had a goal and 2 primary helpers. Their team played D like the Sabres... and our passing was on. Ps they had 12 guys we had 7... legs are jello this morning.

my beer league game starts at 9:45 hopefully can catch the last 2 periods up at the hockey bar.

This team is so young... hard to eval young guys and NHL potential... that being said Sabres need a D guy badly.. not sure Chyc fits the bill but maybe a 3 way deal Sabres send a prospect or 2 for a D they want or 1 prospect plus salary to a team that really wants Chychrun for a D that fits... probably to a team with limited cap space..

Oh there is definitely differences but covid messed up some of that dynamic ... for us now its trying to push my oldest to be more independent... some things he is very but he lacks confidence being on his own though he wants to be... he is slowly getting there cant wait to watch him spread his wings and fly right now he just flaps a lot but hasnt fully committed.

Agreed, my Dad's greatest asset was teaching how to learn, to figure things out... problem with today's kids is they are so use to it being at the touch of their fingers and if they cant solve it in 2 secs they get frustrated and give up... My 18 year old is like this, trying to teach him persistence is tough...

Luckily it isnt our decision but I agree Sabres need both a Timo Meier and Luke Schenn type add to be competitive... Whether via trade, signing as a ufas... these guys are within reach which has folks here excited and opinionated... Me I'm not sure if these particular two are the right choice but Sabres should do their due diligence... Could see Schenn as an easier get... nice thing is finally seeing some passionate disagreements not everyone agreeing the Sabres suck.

List of about 10 players who they say will define the rest of the season... Dahlin tops the list. They go on to say Dahlin should have been picked to be in all star game and he is more well rounded as a d-man than Karlsson and should get the nod for the Norris. List others and their strengths.
