Mitts has been somewhat a disappointment but in some respects on the wall more physical... now if he'd only shoot... Ollie is what he is a perimeter player despite sometimes making an effort.. Disappointed Peterka hasnt found his groove... UPL was suspect and Comrie was a crap shoot... Disappointed in overall D and goaltending.

Sabres pressed in the first couldnt pass through a neutral zone trap... That is on Donnie to see that and get the guys to dump and chase till Leaves open up... led to too many odd man chances and UPL lost his confidence. Cant have that happen.. guys were too hyped... they played better when they simplified their game... You cant open against a team like TO until they do.

Yeh sorry im a bit punchy and my mind is doing some weird word association crap tonight.

Torts gonna jorts meh... that being said cant help but root for everyone in the Eastern conference to lose.. lol different from last couple years where I wanted Sabres to get best possible draft pick so everyone else needed to win. Tonight great Satan lost to the Hawks lol and juesy is losing to Jests... just a weird vibe as Im waiting for an angio neck and head to be ready for a CT scan..

I get why Granato tried to do it to shake things up because of the effort against Calgary... but he hasnt done it much since the beginning of the season... my guess is they need to practice different lines more before implementing... played decent in 1st but after Kings first goal it was a disaster... they pressed without coordination and Andy was off his game.
