    Stirring the pot tonite, eh? All is reasonable tonite in CT so I can add my spice to the pot. Ennis while down at the moment is not the problem, Sabres need some younger finishers other than Molson and Gionta, before worrying about Tyler. Larrson needs to score, Foligno.... there are others who need to be upgraded before Tyler who brings speed and hustle. Not like Girgs was scoring a whole lot before he went down. If Sabres are going to trade him they need to get 2 young scoring prospects in return even if it means adding in draft pick.

    Eichel is soft pedling board work, Reinhardt is out working him, seeing Eichel despite talent being lost and timid at this point. Needs to pick it up.

    I hate say it but told you so, let him work through it. He is one of the few proven scorers. He will be fine.

    Leave Ennis alone, yes he is figuring out new system and jumping around lines, like him with O'Reilly imo. You guys are nuts getting on him... despite issues still is productive.

    Despite his appreciative persistent reping for all goalies; D4rk, I generally am for killing all goalies...as long as they are on the other team. Dont screw with my team's goalie, which can get you in line with audsmell on the other thread...

    I understand from your perspective, but unless you think net size should be significantly increased this is the only alternative. I still play and have blocked a few slap shots in my day with not much equipment so going all game long i can understand your position. But there is a difference between protection and covering up the net with no holes. The current situation with pads is no longer safety but covering up holes which hurts the game imo.

    ??Why would we want better coverage if scoring is down. I am thinking less coverage unless you are talking about for your own protection. Imo cut pad width down to 8 inches wide, narrow the blocker to 8 inches too as well as catching glove. Ok then if length stays the same for protection of goalie. Its the amountof space combined with large goalies killing scoring.
