Gotta be Eichel, but then I think its close between ROR and Risto, good D is such a valued commodity right now just behind centers. After that I'd have say KO if healthy... followed by Sam and McCabe and then Kane. Scandella and Beaulieu and After that Mittelstadt and Nylander come in. Girgenson and Larson follow with Pominville close behind and finally Ghule... Who knows or cares about the rest. The young guys are still in prove it mode to me. Ghule could easily jump upover number of these guys if he makes the team and I have no idea about Antipin until he plays an NHL game.

Left wing is still an issue... unless someone young and can step up and play off wing... I agree with this guy, too many moving parts. Potential is there... but D improvement is going to be a work in progress an left wing is a big question mark? Nice vid by this guy... is that you pi?

Still hopeful that one or two of the D in the system besides Ghule surprise us in the next few years. Maybe Budik and Fitzgerald... along with Borgen who seems to moving up the depth chart or one of this years draft picks.

Interesting comment of Davidsson/Baptiste - Pu/Fasching... though if all four develop well then the Sabres will have some trade bait for D. We will see and if one or two develop further even more chance for a good hockey trade or high end picks...

Just to Sheary Hamilton is probably the defender I would take next... he's on my list. Is Arvidsson till there?! Wow, and he as pretty impressive in the playoffs, Regular season 61 pts and a plus 28... And it looks like he was just finding his groove.
