Shot came in from Lehner’s right.... couldnt tell what happened after that,was at far end of rink and there was a mad scramble.

Watched them beat Nashville. They hard and fast and are nasty in their own end. McNabb blocks a ton of shot and drilled Arrvidson 5 times dont know how he is still walking, gotta have ptsd after that game. They play opportunistic offense with guys who can shoot, they cycle well and counter well. A lot like Columbus but tougher nastier D. And they role 4 lines about equally.

Im on the fence he has moments and other moments... maybe?? And if Ullmark is better... a maybe isnt good enough for this team.

And that will be a good debate toward the end of the season. Gonna be interesting to watch. So does Lehner get moved by trade deadline and Ullmark move up to get a feel for the NHL??

I know some feel this way but both have been intertwined for years. Its a show of strength internationally and internal debate for years. Niave when politicians wrap themselves around sports heros not to have high profile athletes who have an opinion express it. The hard part now is getting a handle on the speed at which all of this is communicated and any of its lasting implications. Still not sure anyone fully grasps it and it can be unnerving.

Agree with the critical flubs... but I see Lehner maturing slowly and goalie take a while. I see Lehner learning to control his size while being pretty agile for a big guy. Though I think the Sabres (Murray) gave up to much for him I dont think you throw out the baby with the bath water. Wait till the Sabres learn to play D in front of him and he is getting better on odd man rushes. Just not as fast as I would like. Keep coaching him up. Kid has talent. Lets see how he is toward end of the season.

All they needed to do was start the game later... Its a winter sun, so shadows different than during baseball season. They put the rink too far out and couldve brought it closer to home plate. Mets organization including ticket sales for this one was all messed up. No wonder the Mets stink... the Wilpons are classless owners all the way around and get panned on the radio all the time as screw ups. Still fun to watch in person but they’re fin nuts if they think Ill ever go to another Mets game until a new ownership group takes over. Was raised a Mets fan b/c of Grandmother... so really sad to say this.

The team is playing better, but they really need a D that can skate the puck up the ice and they depend way too much on the current D to do that and cant. Beaulieu is the only one willing the rest make passes up ice way too early into coverage. Would love to see forwards bring the puck up other than Jack. Nylander once he gets his mojo back and Mitts can do it, so help is coming and maybe Ghule. It would be interesting to put Risto at center for a few games to get him better at playing a 200 foot game... just thinking outta the box...heck season is lost why not.

Just so you know, drone on a wire, like a football game. It was weird watching it move in person.

Crossbar shot sooo close popped almost straight up in air. They had their chances plus D had space and even wingers to skate puck up instead of making difficult passes into traffic. Passing thru neutral zone is atrocious. Plus Sabres came out flat early on and didnt start skating till down 2-0. Really frustrating.

Not Lehner the problem D was way too passive at key points.

Penalty at end looked like a dive after Sabre player was hooked. Also lots of calls not made.. still very fun game flyover was awesome so was Eagle landind and WMCA village people dancers in outfield. Thank God we sat down low wind up top was brutal.
