It’s really quite weird how Buffalo media have been pushing narratives (i.e. the WR Train) now this. It only creates a fervor in the fanbase followed by disappointment and anger. Stop pushing your agenda and let these men do their jobs. How many teams want to trade for the 11th pick in any draft? Teams are lucky to find a top 6 forward or top 4 D there. Even then they are 3-4 years away from contributing.

Actually, it’s like the people who made one of the worst TV shows in history, making fun of a show that got canceled after 7 seasons. Trying to rationalize this as just having an objective opinion of a failed franchise is pathetic. The Leafs are better than the Sabres. You have no leg to stand on. As I said upthread, the Amerks are missing Murray, Stillman and Clague. Remove them and the Amerks get a bunch younger. Now look at who is getting the most minutes. Kulich, Rosen, RyJo, Östlund, Novikov, Neuchev, Wahlberg all < 22.

Just a couple of FYIs. Brett Murray, Riley Stillman and Cale Clague haven’t played in the postseason. That’s over 500 AHL games along with a couple seasons of NHL games experience not on the ice for the Amerks. Also, the number of prospects on any AHL roster is related to how many signed prospects are of an age to be eligible for the Amerks. I suppose they didn’t have to bring Östlund and Wahlberg over for the playoffs but let’s not act like there are only prospects on the roster. Mersch, Jobst, Slaggert, Richards, Warren, Prow, Davies, Biro, Cecconi, heck Kozak is approaching AHL vet status. They have plenty of vets, unfortunately they have some injuries so players like Neuchev are getting minutes in a series he’s probably not ready for.

Do you attend Sabres home games against the Leafs? I hate the Bruins and Flyers so much more than the Leafs. I might even dislike the Sens more than the Leafs. The Sabres kicked their ass for over a decade. I just don’t really care about them. Now if I attended games where it’s the majority of fans are from the great white north, I may have a different opinion.

I honestly didn’t really care who they got to coach as long as it wasn’t a noob. These guys can all do the job, who knows who is actually the right fit. I just don’t want all access points I have to the interwebs to be flooded with Rod the Bod nonsense.

I got debt coming out of my eyeballs. Once I get past that, I can reassess where I’m at. I also think I can reduce the stress of my old job. I have a different perspective and a lot more resources than I was used to.
