This was your best ever post ever in the history of ever.

Nope. Not one second. Pure chaos.

How can you not get a little warm over this play and these numbers?
-
...or that Ham Sammich participates on this board!

By then you have missed all of the fun.

What's with the pessimism? Other than a still-leaky offensive line, I think they look pretty good.

1. That means if the coach and GM aren't chit-chatting constantly like Ruff and Reiger did, then the GM needs to man up and find a coach who will chit-chat with him. Housley's use of the line-up was on Botterill, and Botterill didn't do anything about it all season. 2. See number 1. If Botterill was asking Phil to justify the line-ups, then either Botterill was okay with them, or too wishy-washy to do anything about it until the end of the season. 3. See number 2. Phil failed all season, but wasn't fired until the season is over. Point is, I agree that the coach and GM need to be working as a team. I am a little concerned, again, that this was an issue, clearly, last season and thanks to your points above, the issue was Botterill's and not Phils. We still have Botterill.

I used to go, at least to the scrimmages when they were at NU or elsewhere. Practice sessions, though, I don't know, it always seemed weird to me that they were open to the public. The team-bonding is an intimate thing (for a team practice, keep the thread clean~!) and it seems to me people allowed to watch might interfere. Also, if they're working on tactics, strategies, and other game-planning/improving things, why allow "spies" in to see that? On the latter, I get that after a few games, learned hockey observers could suss what's going on, but, maybe not, too.
-
Does anyone care if the practices are open or closed to the public?

And board the ships to cross the sea...

Maybe Risto is thinking to himself "it'd worked for O'Reilly, what'd I do wrong?"

Because it's good for your soul, that's why. Good. For. Your. Soul.

You'd think that if the answer was "no", he'd have said "no" to that last question, right?

Is this a recent picture? His face looks more adult.

I'd rather have the Gigabit over 100 Megabit, the latter of which I have at home. $99 is a good price, not necessarily competitive, but you're not being taken advantage of, either. Each wireless device is capable of about a 20Mb draw on the stream (due to QoS and wireless tech limitations - obviously this number will vary based on a variety of factors), but probably only use less than a 5Mb stream, depending. The HD, 2K, 4K movies are what'll eat up bandwidth quickly.

The coach's talent?
-
We talked about this when RK was hired. I'm in the camp, presently, of those who think this is far closer to the truth than not.
-
Maybe I'll answer my own question: "I remain convinced that any "system dive" for a new coach is simply a regurgitation of hockey tactics universally seen as good and desirable. Like sizzle cautions, until we have enough games to where we can see tendencies on tape, we will continue repeating pillars of solid hockey fundamentals over and over again as if the last coach obviously had no idea what they are." "...that just kinda explains why some of us sound like poopy pants right now. It's 100% reservation rather than truly believing Krueger is going to suck or anything." Right. Or should I say: RIGHT! I guess I'm confused as to where you are feeling pressured about this. It's okay that you're not buying in. I haven't bought in, either.
-
Who here is suggesting right now, other than PA, that RK is the guy to finally solve the problems? It seems to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, that you're at best encouraging caution with RK, and, at worst already considering him another bomb just in a Euro suit. I think the great majority of us are exercising caution at this point. However, I do detect one interesting thread in your research: the plans and/or thinking were right, they just weren't executed properly or at all. Agree? Anyway, I don't think anyone is blaming anyone for being skeptical this time around, even PA. So, my question, respectfully, is what are trying to get at?

Sorry, I meant the other thread. Currently touring a school and commenting when I can.

Which is exactly what I said many posts up. Some folks are taking things a bit too seriously.

Sounds like Yerdon is claiming part of the new system was used during the prospect challenge. Hmm...

I did not know Vesey was 6’3” 199lbs.
