Are you f***ing kidding me?

Until we are mathematically eliminated, the dream remains alive and it’s that simple, regardless of the long odds. That’s the beauty of sports; you’re always alive until you’re not. And even though I don’t honestly see them winning this evening, I’ll be rooting like hell that they will. That in no way makes me invested in negative outcomes. That’s for those who need to create psychological buffers to ease their disappointment if losing occurs. It’s also for those insufferable douches who love saying I told you so.

Yes! The war between Team Sunshine and Team Storm Cloud is back on! Fans telling other fans how to behave and then chastising them when they don’t behave that way never gets old. Not! Some of the most cynical fans here have hope that we go undefeated the rest of the season and end the drought in the process. I know because I’m one of them. But that doesn’t mean I don’t also live in reality, which is that the Sabres have yet to beat tonight’s opponent. If my accepting that reality somehow offends people here, well that’s just too f***ing bad.

Plenty? Please take a moment to list them then. The only “drama” occurred last offseason and it was totally manufactured and blown up by certain click bait idiots who didn’t know any better. Yes, Diggs was miffed at the organization; for two specific reasons: not being in the loop when Chad Hall left for the Jags and, more importantly, not being notified that the Bills restructured his deal to create cap room last offseason. And while the team has no obligation to inform players unless specified in their contracts, it is a common courtesy none the less, so it’s understandable that Diggs would be miffed by that. If you’re one of those fans who couldn’t tolerate his frustration in the playoff loss to the Bengals and choose to label him a drama queen as a result, then I suggest you attend games around the league and focus only on what transpires on the sidelines in every game with every team.

Not too shabby, especially when considering the crapfastic D being played in front of him. Yep. Let him cook.

Amerks hung on for a 3-2 win. For long stretches of the 3rd, it looked like the Crunch were on an extended power play. Levi with a solid 35 save win. But it’s easy to see why the Crunch have been kicking Amerks butt all season; they are bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled. I don’t like our chances if we should see them in the playoffs.

The Crunch are a superior team with more speed and more skill, except between the pipes. Stopping 25 of the 26 shots he’s faced after two periods, Levi is the only reason the Amerks are leading 3-1.

Both Savoie and Kulich will get long looks in camp, but neither are a good bet to make the big club next season, imo. Perhaps they’ll surprise me.
