Rode my bike to my buddy’s house. Here’s how I hydrated when I got there. Rode back home and strapped on the feed bag to a bowl Chicken Murphy. Good lord. Let’s take a month’s worth of chicken and put it in one bowl of stew with peppers and sausage. Jersey is just awful,... and wonderful.

I can currently get two Whoppers for five bucks. Healthier food is more expensive.

I used to have pedals that were barely bigger than clip on the shoe and you could clip in on either side. The problem was, you had to wear the shoes to ride the bike. I switched to a one sided pedal so if I don’t feel like gearing up, I can just wear regular sneakers. Strapless toe clips are great for the money.

Heating pad is great for before activity to loosen up the muscle (I never do that). Then ice after to keep the swelling down after you’ve done all the damage to the disks. At least, that’s my method. Seems to work.

Also, ice down your spine. I have made this a rule to do after any physical activity of any sort.

While funny, my wife and I have a file cabinet full of reports from specialists in dealing with our daughter. Plenty of those specialists used Google after we left, self admittedly so.
