It was small, and probably shouldn't irk me as much as it did, but it didn't scream "I will do everything I can to score." Again, Hall should have shot, but hockey is about being prepared for what happens after the play you want to have happen doesn't.

He absolutely should have shot (as Jack should have about a dozen times so far.) That does not excuse Sam peeling off.

I really don't need to hear ever again that the system or the coaches are "killing Dahlin." In my opinion it's nonsense. If he wants to be an actual NHL defensemen, guess what, he's going to have to learn how to play in an actual system. He is a 20 year old gifted defensemen who is struggling. You know what a sixteen year old defensemen should also know what not to do, leave a guy alone on the backdoor twice. That's not system. That's hockey. I think I'm leaning more toward TW here. The guys who know how to score are going to remember how to score again and we'll be okay.

The only reason we've gotten to watch as much playoff hockey for the last five years as we have is because of NBC. ESPN (the S supposedly stands for sports) gave up on hockey in the early 2000s to air GD poker tournaments. As a 25+ year employee, I have nothing bad to say about the company.

My takes- I am a huge Reinhart fan and have defended him forever, but him making that pass to Hall and then peeling off pisses me off to no end. That is hockey 101. Skate to the f'n net. If he did, that was a goal. What he did was a BS shinny play for an open skate superstar. I haven't been this angry about a play in a long time. Maybe PH was right. Cozens makes me happy. Dahlin was really bad. WTF?! Risto was good. Montour was good. Olofsson was a machine tonight. He made so many good plays. I continue to be impressed by him. Miller's got some wheels. WTF is wrong with Jack?,… that is all. Not a fan of these lines. Haven't been from the git. Ullmark deserved better.

Lol! I did make a mistake. Sorry I was working and thought they scored 4. But in fairness, the game ended for me once Stall sh!t himself. And I still don’t care. If Hutton and Ullmark are out, we obviously need a goalie. If they aren’t, they are good enough to win with, if we could actually score at a pace that isn’t at or near the bottom of the league like it has been for eight ***** years.
