When other teams get the puck, they turn and explode towards the offensive zone. When we get the puck, with no fans in the arena, you can actually hear them thinking about what to do next. It's ****ing painful to watch. It is so painfully slow and it gives the other team so much time to recover and defend. The backhand passes, the backwards through the leg passes, the pass pass pass pass pass just for the sake of passing passes. Just awful. ... and people were grousing about Bylsma's stretch passes.

Oh, and yes. Hutton sucks.

It's the system. But what do 5 foot tap passes, soccer style play the puck in the direction you got it in the neutral and O zone have to do with the goalie? If they are in the slot, they pass it to the boards. If they are at the boards, they pass it to the slot. It's all about the extra pass. It's like he wants to give the other team an opportunity to pick it off. Terrible.

While I agree this happened, to me it looked like he was trying to do something that he wouldn't have done in the past.
