I thought both teams were terrible today. It was a really bad hockey game. Every opportunity was the result of a sloppy play by the other team. They scored on their chances. We didn’t. Meh. Glad I was mostly listening to tunes and only watching with one eye.

Just rewatched the end of the game. When Bennet went after Dahlin, their color guy said, "If Dahlin is going to throw those elbows, he's going to have to answer the bell." He was referencing the game on Sunday. Does anyone remember Dahlin throwing an elbow or was that just some homer BS?

I think Larsson is a good comparable. Although, I think Asplund may have better hands. And I don't think his defense is all that quiet anymore. It's really good. Not sure if the Sabres would have given up that late goal if he was on the ice instead of Skinner.

Well, I did say "maybe" and they now have the same number of points.😂 Can I say it now, cuz I still think Florida is better than Colorado? I said after Sunday's game that I think they are winning the Stanley Cup this year. I still think that. And for who and what they are, I think the Sabres played just about as good a game as we can expect from them. We used to only be frustrated by them (to the point of being enraged.) At least now we get some entertainment, as well.

Ya know, if this season is about growth, I'd rather they lose that way than back in to OT. Teach'em what it take to play til the end.
