I don’t ever see the videos that you are talking about. I know other people who do and they tell me about them and it bugs the ***** out of me. I know they are out there, but do I want to see that?! I know that’s the narrative, and deservedly so, but that isn’t what happened last night. To me, it just looked like they started thinking too much, trying to make the “safe” play in the third. Instead of just making the play. That extra hesitation allowed the Caps to take advantage of them. It wasn’t that they started getting hit in the third, cuz they were getting hit all game. They did kinda look tired by the end. And at least they turned a 4 point loss into only 2.

One simple fix would go very far with team. Be ready for the GD pass in the defensive zone. They are always ready for them when playing O. So many times tonight they a chance to not only get the puck out, but with speed and numbers and the one guy who needed to get the pass wasn't paying attention. Well, at least we still have the tiebreaker against Washington.
