When we would go to our cabin out in the hills of Buffalo, as soon as we hit the dirt road into the association, my dad would I un-click his seatbelt. It seems I have picked up this habit. As soon as I hit my neighborhood, I un-click my seatbelt. Luckily my car is old enough to not have the annoying constant dinging. I usually make it home before even the first warning ding. Other than that, I always wear it and feel weird when it’s not on. And I’m pretty sure the laws aren’t meant to protect us (and therefore a personal choice issue), they are to protect the insurance companies.

Pretty sure HULU gets you both of those. ROKU is a great way to go. I’ve said it before, but I think it is the best environment to watch tv in. Way better than Samsung smart tv (I’ve never used a fire stick.) Instead of going to each app looking for something, you just search in the ROKU Home Screen and it will give you all the options to view it.

I really don't like golf.

It's the best, though. It's the one that players dream of. Football players want to "win the Super Bowl," not win the Lombardi. Basketball players want to win the "NBA Championship", they certainly aren't dreaming of holding the Larry O'Brien trophy. Do golfers dream of the Wanamaker? I don't know. With hockey, it's all about winning "the Stanley Cup." Not sure if that means anything, but,… there it is.

I bet it's close. And all the American trophies came after, once those leagues recognized the branding power of the Stanley Cup.

I suppose I should give more detail. I miss certain things about the pandemic. I worked all through it, and having all the idiots back at work sucks. On to another - AI. I know it is here to stay and will become a powerful tool, but right now, it's just annoying. I really don't need to see another "Hey, look what AI came up with!" It's all the same and not that interesting. To date, the only thing I've found mildly interesting was the Cosmic Nipple poem.

I miss the pandemic.

My wife watched the whole thing. I dipped in every once in a while. I liked it. I'll watch the series finale next week. Much of it was filmed were I work. I can't describe just how creepy it was to show up on a Saturday to pick up something I had forgotten the day before, and see the entire building turn into ATN. The level of detail was mind-blowing: pictures on the walls, graphics, even our IP phones had the ATN logo on them. Pretty cool, if a little unnerving.

It's kinda hard to say that four one goal games (two overtime games (actually 3+), a 1-0 shutout, and another decided with 5 seconds left) was a mismatched series.

87% for last year’s Presidents’ Trophy winner seems kinda lame to me. Their empty arena during games have been well documented on this site and others. I don’t know about crap, but their fanbase may be the smallest, at least, according to social media presence (and isn’t that really everything these days😀.)

I'm too old to care about markets, anymore. I root for the teams/players now,… and that's a recent thing. Pretty sure it was both.

I think I have completely changed my opinion of Tkachuk with this playoffs. Always knew he was good, but always hated him. We could be so lucky to have a player like him.
