  1. How Marchand got this far into his career without ever really facing the consequences of being a douchebag is beyond me.
  2. I think the internal expectation is to be top 5 in conference based on the belief that they will still score goals and that with Levi in net and guys like CC and EJ on the blueline, the goals against will drop. Playoffs are a must this year but I think they would be disappointed even if they just barely got it. I expect this season to have 05-06 vibes.
  3. Obviously you'd want Zegras in your lineup but the trade would have to be loopsided for it to make sense for the Sabres. No way the Ducks don't get a better offer elsewhere.
  4. I want to say this was an underrated FA signing but I think most know he's exactly the type of player the Sabres needed. If him and EJ help lower the GA just a tad, we make the playoffs and likely end up being a top 4-6 team in Eastern Conference.

I think it's been mentioned a few times already: Bandwagon. And if you think I'm a bandwagon fan because I didn't post on this particular website for 17 years, that's rather silly.

My love for the Sabres never went away but I definitely loved to hate them during the Ralph Krueger era. 🤣

I started one of the first if not first Sabres websites in the late 90s. Eventually brought that website (letsgosabres.com) back in 2006 which is when I probably stopped posting here.

Fair enough. But many years ago I was helping fill up the bandwagon.

It's been 17 years, 4 months, and 26 days since my last post on this website. I think it was all the prospect talk that kept me away -- @PASabreFan was on to something! 🤣 In all seriousness, I've lurked here a lot over the years but the Sabres sucking for so long kept me away for most of those 17 years. This team got me excited again last year and this year I'm fully back on the bandwagon. Looking forward to becoming more involved in this community again. Let's Go Buffalo!
  10. We beat ourselves tonight. Period. They had two lucky goals and we couldn't score on our PPs.
  11. This is my greatest Sabres memory ever away from the Aud or the Arena. Three good friends and myself were on spring break in Cancun, Mexico. We took the bus to J.W. Marriott's Sports Bar which carried all the hockey games. They had a giant screen and about 10 different TV devoted to the NHL Playoffs. On the giant screen, they had the Kings vs. Red Wings I believe and only a few people were watching. So the manager went on the loud speaker and said who wants to watch this game, a few people said yes. He then asked about another game and again a few people said yes and finally he said "who wants to watch Buffalo versus......." The place went NUTS. I turned around and everyone looked at each other. Western New York was in house. There was easily 30-40 Buffalonians and we all watch and went nuts as McKee scored in OT. Trip To Cancun: $1,000 Bus To Sports Bar: 50-cents Watching the Sabres win a playoff game in OT with dozens of Western New Yorkers in a 95-degree tropical weather: Priceless
  12. Same here, it was one of the first games my Dad took me too as a youngster.
  13. Yep, and I predict Peters scores a hat trick too.
  14. Tim Connolly continues to be unbelieveable. He needs to stay healthy.
  15. That's funny because so did the Sabres shooters.
