But can he skate? :p
-
Good summary. I agree.
-
They aren't going to trade him. No one will take him because they don't want to qualify him at $4mil+. He's going to free agency after the Sabres don't qualify him.
-
Excuse me, but ROR is Moriarty. Always with the negative waves. This team needs an Oddball. Woof woof woof.

Holy Mackerel! Sabres Win Dahlin Lottery!

I'm quite excited. And I usually don't get excited for draft picks. But this is special. -
What's this comment all about?
-
I'm firmly in the "whatever happens, happens" camp with ROR. I really don't want to get weaker down the middle. We finally have center depth. But I could be okay with a trade if the return were very very good. *shrug*

Would be nice to have a guy who can actually get that shot through instead if into shin pads or wide of the net.
-
We can't afford to not keep him. We need someone with his smarts and hand-eye. He improved his game around the net.
-
Just coming back in real quick to approve of the Ruby Red Kolsch. It is extremely good.

Evander Kane did very well in his 1st playoff game

San Jose is going to sign him to a long term deal and they're going to regret it in about two years when his body starts breaking down. -
Our cleaning lady at the office is from the Philippines and today we were talking about coffee and she told me in her country they make rice coffee. I was a little curious about what exactly that meant and it turns out they roast rice and then make "coffee" with it. http://lovers.coffee/the-rice-coffee/

You and I could do a much better job. -

I know we're 100% picking him in the draft, but this whole thing seems a little premature. -
Screw Rod. I hope we beat them always and forever.
-
This is literally all I want from beer.
-
Yup.

I have been avoiding the Ruby Red Kolsch because I tend to find Genny's smaller batches a little underwhelming, even for Genny. But all of these votes of confidence may entice me to give it a shot.

Laviolette just now when asked how they cover with Mike Fisher out: "We have a lot of centers", rattles off a list, "we'll get it done." Man. That's it, isn't it? Just loads of centers and just play them at wing. Whatever.
-
I like Karlsson, but no way.

I don't understand the whole "wanting to fight people at work" thing. Gotta think most guys just wanna show up, get their hours, and go home without being hassled too much.

Sure, but what if they're right to do it? I'm not going to say I agree with our esteemed executive leader, but I think he was at least half right with all of his railing against the media. I consume liberal media, because I'm a liberal guy, and let me tell ya: a lot of it is miserable. A lot of it is crap. The liberal media has not risen to the challenge thus far. So I think Kim challenging someone like Harrington is a good thing for the local media. Because either he's going to hit back with a big, really good story some day, or he's going to be rendered obsolete and be replaced by someone from my generation who knows how to exist as a journalist in the late first quarter of this century. Maybe the Pegulas live to regret it? I have my doubts about that...
-
Hasn't it always been this way? Aren't prominent people always at odds with the media? Let's see if Harrington rises to the challenge. He's being called out as a toothless fraud. The ball is in his court.
-
I caught the reference, just didn't want to get into a politics thing. But I understand your point. That said, this is what the media is up against now. Access is not guaranteed. Write your think pieces and hope people are reading them. But no one is reading Harrington because he has everyone blocked.

I couldn't even begin to try to extrapolate. But I would venture that PSE in general is not going to be super friendly with the schmucks in our local media. I can't say I blame them either.
