There's a ton of beer in SLC, so I'm not worried. Only one night in Utah anyway since we're hitting the road for Montana on Sunday morning.

In 24 hours Josie and I will be on a flight to Salt Lake City where we're meeting up with some friends and doing a weeklong tour of Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. It's our first vacation since 2013 and I'm going to have a hard time containing my excitement when the wheels touch down tomorrow afternoon in the beautiful state of Utah. I'm gonna eat, drink, and be merry as f*ck.

The other thread broached the subject of our yearly fantasy leagues so I thought I would go ahead and get a thread going for them. Sabrespace Blue will continue as the more casual league with more roster moves, roster slots, etc. Sabrespace Gold will continue as the more restrictive league with fewer roster spots, roster moves, etc. I will be managing Sabrespace Blue again and I have gone ahead and renewed the league. If you are in the league please check in on your Yahoo account to make sure everything looks good. I will make another post later where I will ask that everyone in the league please check in and acknowledge their participation so that I can cut down on deadbeat teams. We got a late start last year and I wasn't able to completely sort things out. We'll also have to pick a draft date. Where my Gold league manager at?

I believe we will have both Sabrespace Gold and Sabrespace Blue again this year. I just renewed Blue league so those who were in it please check your emails. I don't know who was running Gold? Guess it's time to start a new thread.

They're just gonna play Allen because they like his development. Then by December we'll have McCoy taking nonstop handoffs from the corpse of Kyle Orton.

If you had told me last year that Peterman would be the starter this year, I wouldn't have even fought you on it because I'm fully aware of how dumb this team is.

None of this would be a problem if we had an O-Line or a receiving corps. I hope they can pump Peterman full of enough painkillers to let him hand the ball off for most of the season.

This looks like the only option. Jo rando off the streets to play QB. I guess I don't care as long as Allen isn't playing by week 3 and getting hurt.

Argue if Peterman was the number #1 if you want, it doesn't really matter. These guys are supposed to be the sacrificial meat shields to keep Allen on the bench. Now we don't have that.

I disagree. But, if that is the case, this team is in even bigger trouble than I thought.

This is untrue. He's raw and undeveloped and needs a good line if we don't want him to end up like Rob Johnson. McCarron and Peterman were supposed to prevent him from being in the lineup at all simply by existing. I really don't want Allen seeing playing time with this line. Not if I'm supposed to believe he's the future and not just another plug.

A 5th round pick and now our starting quarterback is Nathan Peterman and our backup is a rookie, and both of them are going to die behind the O-Line.

I'm not a draft expert or anything so I don't really have an opinion on where we take a RB. I'm mostly just curious if we have anything of value on this team to fix the O-Line so that this isn't a wasted development season for Allen if he ends up seeing playing time.

Does trading McCoy for O-Line make sense if this season is going to be a dumpster fire anyway? Like, at least give our quarterbacks some help and draft a RB in the 1st next year?
