Yeah, but it says that side effects are indications the vaccine is working. It's fair to wonder what a lack of side effects means.

Language like the following from the CDC: "COVID-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting COVID-19. You may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection."

Has anyone gotten both doses of the vaccine and had no side effects? If your body doesn't react to the vaccine, are you getting any benefit?

I measure him as a smart, self-aware, humble young man who knows he has his hands full getting to an elite level as an NHL defensemen. The "edge" stuff is going to be icing on the cake, and I think he's afraid icing the cake right now would make him look foolish. (An argument could certainly be made for " fake it until you make it" or that playing with an edge would help him get to that next level.)
