I feel like he was a dynamic, fun to watch, highly skilled player early on. Then, my theory goes, that all had to be coached out of him because, son, this is the NHL. And what are we left with?
In your constant and creepy zeal to poke me, are you really willing to leave aside the issue of who's more qualified to run a hockey team, Mario or Terry? It's kind of a no-brainer. You should be able to get it.
Language like the following from the CDC:
"COVID-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting COVID-19. You may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection."
I measure him as a smart, self-aware, humble young man who knows he has his hands full getting to an elite level as an NHL defensemen. The "edge" stuff is going to be icing on the cake, and I think he's afraid icing the cake right now would make him look foolish. (An argument could certainly be made for " fake it until you make it" or that playing with an edge would help him get to that next level.)
I'd feel better if A. Analytics was saying the Sabres might be very good in the standings eventually vs. it saying the Sabres might be very good (at the time of the post) despite a middling record.
