  1. The logos are a great touch. I also like the out of town coverage on a separate page.
  2. You silly goose. A loss is no big whoop, but we should be seeing their best game, or close to it.
  3. After Rob said, "There's no point calling a penalty this early in the game," I'm glad his mic quit working.
  4. It's like a different rink every 30 seconds.
  5. The changing ads on the boards are going to be a problem. So disconcerting.
  6. ? Nobody does sadness like the Buffalo Sabres.
  7. Don't you have to calculate the mythical point total that guarantees a playoff berth? Or work on your perennially pathetic Sabres season prediction? Surprised you have time for this. It's not personal. OK maybe it is. These rich pricks destroyed MY hockey team.
  8. I will pray for your soul.
  9. Then they didn't have the right to ask for thoughts and prayers... or however they worded it.
  10. Does Calsen not think he can be defeated fairly?
  11. I was on to Eichel at "Buffalo..." I was on to Terry at "Where's..." I'm really good at this.
  12. I'll be gone for awhile. Don't worry. Where I'm going, they know me.
  13. It can definitely tip the scales. That's what I heard anyway.
  14. @That Aud Smell's mention of Roger Ebert brought my thumbs down joke, but it's been so long, i questioned whether it was really Ebert's thing. So I googled Ebert, confirmed the thumb, and clicked on a link of his most hated movies. Therein, there was another link about how a director confronted Ebert in a bathroom about a very very negative review. Great little piece, and all because Smell mentioned the man. The Internet is something, especially for those of us who grew up without it. https://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/roger-and-me
  15. He's a good crime analyst on CNN but what's up with the hair?
  16. Smell, I hope you got the joke of my thumbs down.
  17. I was taught a long time ago that in the communication process, the communicator takes the ultimate responsibility for making sure the message is clear. You can't start a message about Jack Eichel's Bust and not expect exactly what came of it. It's on you, LGR. (And, let's be honest, you knew what you were doing. It was fun. One of the better threads of summer. The ending of it was a nice touch.)
