See, that's the problem. There aren't many teams in the east that would be "OK" to lose to. So, however distasteful I won't be rooting for any wins as an abstract concept. But, when I get a chance to watch a game I'll be hoping for the win, but I won't get into a funk when they don't.

We're in a 3-way tie with Carolina and Tampa (but with less wins) right now, we simply can't afford to win this game and hope that those two teams win their game each in-hand.

Plus, Tasty Cakes are awful.

Based on the media thread, maybe the BN and WGR folks have pissed off the Sabres enough that no one feeds them info.
