FWIW, I 100% believe a bunch of bros "chased [her] around for the entire game post-hit" chripping. That's like the most plausible bro thing I can think of, other than one taking another run at her to really "teach her a lesson". Have you been around sports bros? (I'm asking in jest, I'm sure you have) If I was trying to do something I enjoyed and a bunch of bros kept harassing me, I'd probably be driven to tears too. I aware of myself enough to know that. FWIW, I wouldn't have waited around after the game though, toxic bros gonna toxic and there's nothing that's going to break through that tough-guy shell to the fragile little child inside.

Man, it'd be terrible if McD's got so expensive that people turned to eating food that isn't terrible for their health. 🙂

I honestly found a repeatable difference in the after-effects of even moderate doses Genny Cream vs the other beers I was drinking at the time. I was drinking craft beer, however, so it's possible that other beer that comes in 30-packs would have the same effect, but I didn't really drink those regularly. I seem to remember it giving an out-sized headache compared to other beers too, but Yuenling and Sam Adams Boston Lager do the same thing to me. 2-3 of those and I'd be hurting the next morning, where other beers I could drink more and be fine. This is the end of my Ted talk.

7-4 is only like 0.8 points above safe playoff pace, so I'm not surprised they didn't gain any ground. Now, if they'd have gone 11-0, we'd be talking. Or 9-2 and then 7-2 over 20 games. The Sabres are very much in "need to be one of the the best teams in hockey for the rest of the season" territory with the start they got. Until the end of the season, watching the other teams doesn't really matter much. There are plenty of teams hovering around the same place, just take care of your own games and the standings will come. The Sabres are not taking care of their games.

I get you, I really do, but the Bills and Chiefs aren't nearly as far apart as the Lost-in-the-woods Bills and probably the best NFL team in recent history. Even then, the Bills won 3 games against Brady. Even as it is, the Bills have been down to a play either way with the Chiefs in two of the three recent playoff games. That's strongly into a lucky bounce changes everything territory.

Come now, the Bills would go at least 3 for 10 just on luck.

This occurred to me too. "Look how good they finished the season!" "If not for those injuries on D!" "The kicker had a bad day!". All true, but all cover up that I don't think any of us are confident that in a close game, McDermot is going to out-coach the opposition, or even be an average coach.

I'm confused, doesn't Lou always take over coaching in this scenario?

Huh, currently both QBs in the Texans/Ravens are leading their teams in teams in rushing too. Not big numbers, but just weird to see.
