  1. What wording would you use for what you do on/with Google?
  2. And on another note, why would any player choose a PTO over an actual contract?
  3. Can I get a translation on “wadr “?
  4. I’m riding in a bus down the highway to the airport in Boston. It’s crazy looking down at cars and seeing that pretty much every other driver is on their phones. We just keep getting dumber and dumber by the second. People always say Idiocracy, but I think we’ll blow well past that.
  5. I’m too lazy to check but I’m sure it’s edited by now. Get it out fast, fact check later.
  6. I think an intern is getting fired. It also says the kings drafted him.
  7. We have been up in the mountains of NH the last few days. Yesterday, a mother black bear ran through our backyard with three cubs. The awesome part is that none of us were out there. It probably would have looked like a scene from cocaine bear.
  8. We had a group of teens probably about 8 years ago that were firing off fireworks in broad daylight in a public park behind us. They then went through my neighborhood and shot them at houses. When people came out to stop them, they sped off down a dead end street with no outlet. So we’re all laughing at them waiting for them to come back out. I had actually been cleaning up nails in my yard from a ***** siding company so I had a pocket full of nails. I thought about that homemade nail strip but decided against it. Everyone had the plate and the cops called already so the kids were toast already. When these geniuses came back through, they went back to that park they started in. Guess what? No outlet there either. They wound up abandoning the car and running. The cops really struggled to figure out who they were since that was the only car in the entire parking area. kids are dumb and mostly harmless… until they start shooting fireworks at the window of a sleeping infant.
  9. Everyone’s kids are perfect little angels. I know because they all tell me.
  10. I was under the impression that the team thought he was faking it last year because it mysteriously surfaced right after the trade.
  11. Someone else complained about it on Facebook. Short of stepping out in front of the moving car, I never had the opportunity to talk to the kid. But based on what I described above, the father was not going to like anyone for doing that.
  12. We had one in my neighborhood a few years back flying through regularly in a jeep. The father said he never speeds, it was just the type of tire that made sounds. So I assume it was also the tires that made him drive down the wrong side of the road around curves so he could maintain that slow speed. Some have no chance.
  13. @mjd1001 as I was reading that I was all ready to ask if a video counts as the cops seeing it. Definitely show that to them. I hate that “we have to see it” approach. Take a wild guess what people do when they see a cop car… even the dumb ones.
  14. I must have fat fingered it because I would have swore I typed 7th.
  15. I feel like the 6th round pick probably sees the writing on the wall. He’s thrilled to be drafted and knows it’s an uphill battle.
  16. No one wants the 7th round pick and you might as well use it instead of just passing (if you can even do that). And this “lower pick” thing come up all the time. Not all drafts are created equal… particularly when you’re already 6 rounds deep in one of them.
  17. I see the title and was hoping for an alien tie in.
  18. Why would the league reject it?
  19. Sort of like the Eichel trade? Buffalo got a proven 20 goal scorer, a valued prospect, a first round pick, and a second round pick. Just about the only similarity is that they did have to include a 3rd round pick along with him.
  20. That’s a trade that tells you there wasn’t much serious interest out there. And I get it, the question marks are very big.
  21. I drive past a school most mornings where a cop is directing traffic. Yesterday there was a different officer out there than normal. I was first in line waiting as he was getting cars out of the school parking lot. I couldn’t actually see these cars because he had left his cruiser in a strange spot, blocking the line of sight. He signaled me to go and as I was moving a car suddenly flew across right in front of me. The cop never reacted in any way, so I have no clue if this car completely ignored his direction or the officer wasn’t paying attention. Bring back the regular guy.
  22. And if Edmonton matches those offers, this move by Armstrong is essentially the equivalent of a rejected trade offer. But hey, that’s also an example of a GM trying to make his team better. Oh, but you’ve also made an enemy.
  23. I was driving earlier today and a hawk swooped out of a tree and flew parallel to me, matching my speed. It was a very cool sight.
  24. From $170 million to almost $2 billion in 14 years. That’s insane.
  25. It wouldn't change the draft rules with regards to free agency. That's all set in stone the second you're drafted.
