So many people talk about adding new jobs for the players. Why would the PA want that? They already get a specific cut of all revenue. Adding jobs just takes away money from the current players.

They weren’t point producers when they were both children playing in an adult league. How exactly do you gauge that? It’s not exactly apples to apples when comparing them to the CHL guys. I don’t think the guys we kept matter at all in this case. There’s way too much conjecture there: Would Buffalo have moved someone else instead? Would Edmonton have taken anyone else? I think this one makes a ton of sense with these exact pieces and it’s best left at that.
