You might need to check your math. He won the US Open in 2011.

I don't care one way or the other, but I hope Columbus sneaks in after everything they've had to deal with this year.

Ruff and Adams end-of-season press conference: Saturday, April 19, 4:30pm

Oh great, time to prepare for all the complaints. Short of a resignation, there is nothing of value that can be said during one of these things, especially after 14 years. -
I used to work at indoor track meets in an old armory at my college. The maintenance guys had so many horror stories about the rats in that place. They had to stand behind the baited traps with a baseball bat waiting for them. The rats would run off with the trap if they didn’t.

They held him out for three years just for this very day. Those evils bastards!

Sabres assign Goaltender Scott Ratzlaff to Rochester

I can’t picture them ever moving him after they shipped Askarov out. -
Yeah, I remember being confused as to why either team would do it at that point, not having any clue how the board would shake out.

I’m trying to remember the timeline. Did they trade back with San Jose much earlier in the day?

They were losing money and the best offer came from True North. It’s not really bonkers at all. It’s a story we’ve heard hundreds of times across sports. It just so happens that the money offer came from a group that worked with the NHL as opposed to go behind their backs. That’s how you get things done.

89 games over 3 seasons since the first tear, 12-27-29

Pacioretty is an odd choice to include. He re-tore the Achilles right away after coming back and has pretty much never done much since.

They’re the sabres

They were very good under Umile, even if they were the university of no hardware. Hockey East had their big 4 era during that time with BU/BC/UNH/Maine. Those days are gone now, and NIL in particular has pretty much killed that. Maine has bounced back in the last couple years, so maybe UNH can at some point. There's just not much draw to that program right now. Compare his time to any other coach. He's by far the best they ever had.

It’s crazy to think that a team loses a game when someone is scoring at that rate. It looks like that slacker only had two points in that loss. He has no future. 😆

The menus themselves are pure crap. I swear that the order things are listed changes each time I log in.

I wonder how many people on here are left from when the team was good. I can’t keep up with all the name changes over the years.

Trade: C Ryan McLeod - Oilers for Matt Savoie
shrader replied to tom webster's topic in The Aud Club
Just once I wish they’d lean into the seniors and their apps instead. Maybe generate ratings based on the number of life alert alarms went off at the time of the trade. If a trade makes grandma fall and she can’t get up, it is drawing attention. -

From my point of view, the reaction on tick tock is the tree falling in the woods with no one around. -
Landeskog loaned to the AHL for conditioning. This will expire after the season has ended. It by some chance he plays in the playoffs, that’s going to be the longest manipulation of LTIR we have ever seen, missing 3 years of hockey. Seriously though, it’s a great story if he can come back. I just love the convenient timing of the possible return.
