My jersey was delivered today. Very happy with it.

It's quite possible that the previous agent was in fact the emu. The new one just called and I quickly find out that the previous one did not bother to do anything with the forms I emailed her the other day. We have a history with them not bothering to process forms. They actually canceled my home owners insurance two years in a row because they never processed a simple form they asked me to sign. So needless to say, once this whole process is done, I'll be shopping for a new company.

Did they dilate them? It's always a blast trying to focus on the computer screen for a few hours after that. I always wind up sitting as far back as possible, straight arming it Frankenstein style. I forget where I posted it, but my wife had her car rear ended at a red light 3 weeks ago. Late last week the collision shop told me that they found a lot more damage after removing the bumper and it now classifies as totaled. We want to get this moving as fast as possible, but the insurance company (Liberty Mutual) doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. As of Tuesday, they still didn't even have the other driver's information (which I gave to them on day one) or the police report. A different agent is dealing with it now that it's totaled, so hopefully she'll be quicker. But so far, she doesn't feel the need to return phone calls.

McCabe is the one that sticks out to me. I'm a bit surprised they didn't mix up the D a bit more. Short of trades/injuries, he's the only one in the second group who will be in the opening night roster.

That and you do have about 85 defensemen on the roster. It wouldn't hurt one of the kids to get a few NHL games under their belt.

I think @inkman will probably suggest another way to strengthen hands. I hope no one shares a gif for that.

Wasn't Cozens a hand injury too? It's time to fire the entire training staff because they clearly have no idea how to strengthen hands.

We have one of those entry lanes to our parking garage where you have to scan an ID before the arm lifts up. For some strange reason this morning, two women decided to stand in the middle of that lane and have a conversation. It was a true marvel of obliviousness.

While reading through some of the stories on him today, I couldn't help but notice the pictures. He looks a lot more like 54 than he does 34.

I'd say "something something, Andrew Luck", but even that one's not quite right. He's 34 years old and pairing that up with missing a lot of games due to injury recently, it is understandable.

My Eichel shipped yesterday. It will go well with the blue Grier jersey I already have. I suppose I'll have to get my hands on a Drury goathead at some point to build on the BU collection.

All these QB injuries so far, including Drew Brees which in what was basically the equivalent of a high five gone wrong. If there was ever a time for satan to finally call in his debt on Tom Brady, this is it.

I was really starting to think that this was the year where Pittsburgh would land their next franchise QB just like the got the last one. They fall apart for one year, get an early pick and then Ben falls into their lap. So much for that thought.

Really quickly my mind goes to Jordan Staal, but I don't really remember the specifics there. But yeah, we're not going to be stringing together a very long list here.

It's always fun when we get these agent leaked stories. Let's make the player look as good as possible without actually saying anything of substance. I'm not really sure what they gain from saying this now as opposed to back when he was still unsigned. But hey, what's a good attention ***** without a few "hey look at me" comments.

I wish these sources were a bit more clear on the actual definition of an offer sheet. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one taro, but being presented an offer sheet should mean that they put an actual contract in front of him. So does this mean that he negotiated a bit with these teams a bit and then they presented that actual contract? I think that's the real information that people would be curious about, did he actually negotiate with teams or did they just throw out a random unsolicited offer.

Just imagine the mess that inevitable day when they do take down a bear in your backyard.

@ubkev, with all those murders, are you sure that they're dogs? It sounds like you own two cats.

I didn't realize that not opting out was just them punting it back one year. I guess I never thought about it before. Either way, if the player don't opt out either, I'll take it as a sign that both sides are much closer to being on the same page than in previous years. They're at least in the same chapter this time. I don't think anyone implied anything different. Still, I don't see any reason to assume one or the other, temporary or long-term.
