  1. I saw the first of the new Jumangi's in the theater and the woman next to me completely ruined it. She laughed hysterically at every single line and then explained how each scene was a reference to something from the original. Mass audience laughter can really help a theater experience, but only when things are actually funny.
  2. Thanks for throwing in that last part because I was getting ready to ask how they make space for that move. I have a hard time seeing them stashing him, but I suppose he's dead cap space on or off the team.
  3. I figured you were off in some random foreign country.
  4. There's more than one person at Johns Hopkins. And then there's all of their past graduates who are now working somewhere else.
  5. My usual hair cut is always #3 on the sides and then they cut the top. So I'm just going to start with the 3 and see how that works out. I've only ever had a scissor cut on the top of my head, so this is uncharted territory. I'm hoping it works out well though, because it will eliminate my hair cutting budget. The wife can take that money instead for her $85,000 hair cuts. I tell you what though. As someone who has never bought one of these things, reading through the comments while trying to find a decent one? Not fun. It reminded me of that bit in one of the Austin Powers movie where they describe the appearance of Dr. Evil's rocket ship.
  6. I was just hitting the point of needing a hair cut when the craziness started. Today I finally caved and ordered some hair clippers on amazon. I figure that if I’m going to badly botch an attempted hair cut, I should do it early and leave time to recover.
  7. The problem they’re trying to solve is not the draft order. It’s an attempt to recover lost revenue. That said, using the draft order as a revenue tool is an absolutely horrible idea.
  8. I just went on an all out mosquito massacre in my backyard. I've never seen anything like what our entire neighborhood has this spring. There's so many out there that I start to itch just by looking out the window.
  9. The problem with natural selection is that it never claims the right people. The internet is proof of that.
  10. Actually, it's pretty much a must.
  11. Flatten the curve. All we have to do is hit 100%.
  12. You come across as the type of person who wouldn't screw it up, but I still can't help but picture the shelves sloping at 45 degree angles (left to right) thanks to the arm.
  13. Only if she poured gatorade all over the produce... closest thing we have to brawndo (not you @Brawndo)
  14. And if I'm a team right on the playoff bubble, I'd lobby as hard as I can to let the other bubble team in instead. I also wonder how much the players would care about this. Sure, a Jack Eichel may be motivated to get that 1st pick onto his team, but do the pending UFAs care one bit?
  15. It's that constant desire for viral video attention that we see way too often. The idiots opening ice cream containers and licking them. It's the same exact thing, just done at the worst possible time. They think they're being funny but they're just idiots. I'm content counting it as dumbassery. And yes, I just wanted to say dumbassery.
  16. Dumbass isn't a mental health condition.
  17. Nope, nothing to complain about whatsoever. Everything is rosey.
  18. Much of the negativity is due to the position he plays and the GM who drafted him.
  19. I like zooming out and looking at the tiny red dots in certain spots, like the one in the middle Greenland. Then there's one well off the eastern coast of Africa in line with Tanzania and Kenya. I had no idea there was anything out there.
  20. Since the world is coming to an end... 0-0
  21. My favorite VCR recording that I watched a million times was a copy of one of the Star Wars movie that included a crawl across the bottom announcing that the US had declared war against Iraq.
  22. There's going to be a lot of movement this offseason. With the turnover on the cap and with the team itself, some trades are coming.
  23. Yesterday Ted Nolan was our coach. Today's he's coaching against us. That guy really gets around.
  24. I'm a little surprised that any underclassmen would be signing right now. Maybe they're hoping on actually getting some NHL playing time this year if they do manage to restart the season during the summer. I guess this could be a rare opportunity to get more pro games than the typical year. Then again, they're going to be out of game shape if that does happen.
  25. Of all those opponents you listed, other than the Steelers and Titans, each team in the AFC east has to play them too. So that all evens out. You know who the Jets don't get to play twice this year? The Jets.
