Jiri Kulich to miss significant time with blood clots
PerreaultForever replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I think they lie. -
That you don’t have a resounding opinion on one or the other says enough to me

I think McKenna has the most offensive skill in the draft. I think Stenberg might end up the better pro, keep in mind though, a bunch of Stenbergs goals are from the pp. I see the engagement questions but also see the skill level when McKenna has the puck. This is difficult for me because since the Jarvis draft, I've been very keen to find guys with high intensity motors. Stenberg has a better motor but less creation. Idk how to evaluate them yet.

One of Adams rare wins.
-
No. Want them to win. Starting tomorrow night. If things have gone caca, then at the Olympic break, clean house and get what you can for guys that don't fit into the future. Don't tear it down to the studs. Just get a little bit of cap space back and some additional draft capital and hit the ground running next year. But, don't do anything now to spur on them going furhter caca than they already have.

That’s kinda like looking at Transformers: Age of Extinction and being like, “ya it’s all the same, except Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, and TJ Miller are in it. Other than those actors, it’s the same movie.” It’s more about the auteur
-
Haven't seen anyone say that.
-
I feel glad we traded him.
-
Everything is exactly the same, except for Kesselring, Doan, Danforth, Lyon, Östlund, Rosen, Timmins, Ellis, Greenway (back from injury), Norris (eventually) and Dunne. Other than those 11 players it's exactly the same team.

Ruff on 'GR this morning: Zucker hasn't eaten solid food in 9 days!

It's Ruff's fault McKee's shin pads weren't clean? Really? -
I don’t care what they do, as long as it’s the decision of a new GM

Almost time to think about Gavin McKenna?
Scottysabres replied to Crusader1969's topic in The Aud Club
NO MORE TANKING!!!!! I want them to start winning. Or at the very least competing with some consistency, which means, START WINNING!!!!! Thank you for letting me get that out, my apologies to the neighbors. -
Anyone else get the Sabres dog mascot photo today?
-
So now everyone wants to lose out for an 18% chance to draft a would-be savior who right now is having red flags pop up on a daily basis and isn't anywhere as good in college as Jack was?
-
yeah, mostly joking, but if we're looking for some combination of NHL ready (or near NHL ready) rather than picks I feel like that's the kind of guy we can expect back - Maybe Savoie and a 1st for Tuch? Which wouldn't excite me, but teams that are buyers aren't usually giving up good NHL pieces in rerturn.

No experienced GM would have looked at that roster and said "we need a rebuild." Adams, a pencil-pusher with no front office or scounting experience sold Terry on an unnecessary rebuild that will probably set the franchise back a decade. A smart, experienced GM, instead, would have fixed the coaching situation and bolstered the secondary scoring and defensive issues with affordable vets. Terry's unwillingness to hire a experienced GM has sent us all into hockey hell.

another teenager who isn't helping his team win -
17 games, 1 goal, 2 points, -7 pretty much not a factor so far. I feel that McLeod was better for this team, and we needed immediate help at C, and we still do.
-
how do you feel about matt savoie?
- Today

We can make up lots of stuff here on fan message boards.

He wanted out because Adams wanted to rebuild. He detailed this in the Friedman interview. If the team wasn’t set on a long form EEE rebuild, do the players stay? Yes. The injury disagreement was merely a symptom of the fact Eichel had already asked out due to the looming rebuild

Three years ago, they should have been looking for the next up-and-coming Foligno. Maybe it's Doan? (Though he's not punishing like Foligno was able to be.) But that was three years ago. Now, Foligno is a deadline rental for a team with a top seed that just needs some more veteran depth and know-how for the playoffs. He's an Okposo. He is not someone you acquire who has term remaining on a contract and expect contributions throughout an 82-game season.
