  1. Past hour
  2. I'm gonna guess I saw more of Montreal last year than you did. They had major defense issues. Their forwards had similar problems to Buffalo. They got timely goaltending but they were eliminated in 5 games by a Washington team that wasn't that deep. Why the ***** should I care if Buffalo makes the playoffs and gets smoked in 5 games? You should hang a banner for Montreal. Their only aggressive move is Dobson, which I really like. As I noted, should be interesting to see if they've truly stepped past Buffalo. Until then, you're comparison is ***** for the reasons I stated.
  3. The amount of people who simply can't process the fact that the league is in a paradigm shift where cap space is going to be nowhere near as important is just stunning.
  4. It hasn't happened in Chicago. LA was on that sorry excuse of a governor allowing ICE agents to be assaulted, but you know that. The president has the same authority over the DCNG as governor's have over thier state's NGs, perhaps you just don't know that. Bowser has publicly stated numerous times she supports Trumps actions, so no, there is absolutely no difference between NY and DC.
  5. The State and County are tapped out after the Bills stadium and the City is broke. I guess Terry is going to spend the half billion dollars to get the arena up to league standards. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  6. Sabres have packed a lifetime of suffering into my 39 years so far on this earth
  7. They opened cap space to add a player now or at the deadline. As was mentioned, rumor has it they are trying to trade for Lundell but they want a top 6 forward and they are doing what they need to for that. If they do nothing then no, they didn't improve, but it's a move to make a move so wait and see. As for San Jose, they want to roll with a bunch of ELCs in a total rebuild so we can watch and see if they build faster than the Sabres or not. It's a plan. We shall see how it goes. They likely want to be in on McKenna and then they will start to add with that next free agent grouping which at this point looks massive.
  8. Montreal might not even make the playoffs but their rebuild is going much better and faster than the Sabres. The make up of that team is substantially different and they have it more correct. GM is much more aggressive and active. Not every move is great but he makes moves and more work than don't.
  9. Could have. Should have. Would have. But they DID. Sabres Did NOT. You are still too reliant on looking at stats rather than on ice success. If you believe these two teams are equivalent you are delusional. They are rebuilding aggressively and correctly. The Sabres are not. Sabres have made ZERO progress under Adams.
  10. DOJ staffer caught on video saying redacting every republican name is exactly what they will do. Caught. On. Video. Something, something … hyperbole?
  11. If they redact a single Republicans name than every single one of them is guilty until proven otherwise at that point.
  12. Today
  13. Trump and every other redacted republican name in the files being totally exonerated?
  14. I do not see any current contracts on the Sabres that are likely to go bad due to players aging out. I think the deal Tage Thompson signed ends when he is 31 years old. That is the longest/latest/oldest anyone else is committed to right now on a deal that is any longer than 2 years. I am not advocating for an $80 million dollar, 8 year deal. But If you have to give ONE deal that might be an overpay at the end of it to Tuch right now, you do that so you get the 'good' next 2-4 years out of him.
  15. It is rare you sign a guy who is almost 30 to a long term deal and the end of it is anything but bad. But, almost all teams need to sign guys to those deals to keep them around, you just hope to balance it out with some younger guys on cheaper contract.
  16. Agreed. Hopefully once the new Bills stadium is open, they will look to do something bigger with the Arena. If they wait too long, the thing that will be best for it will be a few thousand sticks of dynamite and a wrecking ball. I don't like the special discount menu for only season ticket holders. Yeah, you want to reward your season ticket holders somehow, but for the rest of fans, you basically telling them "you aren't good enough buy more tickets or we'll get you to pay up in other ways".
  17. You have way too much old man in your Sabrespace game to have been only 7 in 1993.
  18. Something is better than nothing. 👍🏻
  19. You voted for Trump in 2016, but that’s beside the point, which is that I have yet to see you criticize one damn thing that he says or does. Instead you post nothing but fat right endorsements of his policies. As for me flip-flopping, that is a huge load of crap. You insist on creating bullcrap equivalencies between the NG deployments in NY city vs. DC, LA, and soon Chicago. I will not bother to explain why those NG deployments are different simply because you’re too intellectually dishonest to acquaint yourself with the simple facts for fear of having to actually learn something contrary to your intractable position. Have a nice day.
  20. To clarify, I would 100% be against any president of any party affiliation using terms like "liberating" and "war" to discuss US cities being taking over by US military.
  21. I changed the title of the thread to team you want to see win the cup the least, instead of 'most hated' (as the topic was meant primarily as the team you least want to see have that ultimate success.)
  22. I was 7 when they won in 1993, I remember watching with my Grandma
  23. I chose Toronto but honestly my first thought was, like Promo, where are the Sabres ? To be clear I’m a fan but…the ownership, management and parts of the coaching staff are certainly hated by this fan. As to the poll I chose Toronto mainly because being Canadian and having the Leafs in your face whether you want it or not is a cruel form of torture.
  24. I voted for Obama and Biden and criticized neither while they were in office, so you're wrong. I'm not a Trump supporter. I've clearly stated i don't support using the military for law enforcement. Unlike you, my opinion didn't flip-flop based on the political affiliation of who activated the NG.
  25. Yea! On the positive side, they fixed something two years in a row now. First the scoreboard and the holey roof, now better Audio and express entry and better hot dog buns. Go Sabres!
  26. While true, it doesn’t mean the team should not address issues.
