Like I get I am exaggerating in thst plenty were questioning it, but a TON liked and a lot of those people REALLY liked it. I hate this weird default that all the fans thst are unhappy with the team are disingenuous losers who are just pretending to be mad for clout. Why would I/we praise the Savoie trade then? We weren’t hesitant to praise Adams when we THOUGHT he was doing something in the name of winning - why does the argument exist we’d be unhappy still if we actually did win? It’s nonsensical and I just proved it He and others just want to see the fans as an irrationally angry monolith that has no right to be angry cause they couldn’t do better (than professionals) anyway and they are just lying about wanting the base minimum success, and complain just to complain, who complain just because “it makes sense to assume the worst with the sabres” as I SO often see mentioned here by a lot of people no - we aren’t assuming the worst, the transactions and practices have certain patterns we pick up on

Chad D: expect a Byram trade at or around the draft

It will be a guy with the upside to do that and it will be a shoot first player 30-30 potential 25-20 current -
Didn't stop everyone from spelling Reinhart like drunken sailors

We need production. Advanced metrics don't count if a guy can't hit a wrister in an open net. I want a top 6 with a proven track record of 50-60 points with 20 or more goals in the NHL at least 2 of the last 3 seasons. Preferably at Center at least 6'2 and over 185 lbs. That or a goalie that can start 50 or more games with a GAA under 2.85 in 3 of last 4 years and at least a .918 save percentage lol Yes, I'm making up stats on the spot with no research but it's what I define as a good player. -
I saw that on Reddit. Meh. I recall similar talk about O'Reilly and Eichel (and maybe others) in connection with their departures/disaffection. If Peterka played defense worth a damn and didn't have an agent who was clamoring for his client to leave Buffalo, no one would give a hoot about his affection for late nights at local licensed establishments.

There is no way they are keeping Byram and tying up ~25-27 mil on 3 blueliners. -
I hope Byram is dealt so I can stop reading people misspell his name constantly 😁

Where are we scheduled to take the steal of the draft again? What’s our number?

I hope if Kesselring becomes Power’s partner, that the coaches don’t go easy on Power improving in the D zone. He still needs to play defense and learn to take the man. He CANNOT continue to be an NHL defenseman and do nothing more than stick check in his own zone. Unacceptable for any NHL blueliner, but crazy for one making ~8.5 mil per year.

Sabres turned down Rossi for Peterka swap
dudacek replied to Porous Five Hole's topic in The Aud Club
I find the fact you like Peterka a hard nut to crack. To me, he's everything you claim to hate about the Sabres. You'd also think that a guy who has been pounding the keyboard for years for size, grit, discipline, culture etc. might be at least moderately intrigued by an attempt to add players who are both cut from precisely that cloth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not surprised you don't like the trade; On the contrary, I'd be surprised if you did. The one position you are very consistent in taking is "If the Sabres did it, it was probably the wrong move." And I understand how that's the safest path. I mean, when has it ever steered you wrong? 😁 -
At this point dudacek, whatever it takes to get this team competitive and playoff bound. To myself in any event, a good roster that can finish is like satisfying an appetite, it’s rather ridiculously obscene the amount of offense talent this team has. It’s been well past time to stop choking that chicken and let the gravy flow.
