  1. Past hour
  2. Will Petterson skate through a wall to win a playoff game? Will he at least skate into the wall to try?
  3. Part of me wants to see petterson and Dahlin on the PP though. Could be awesome. but a huge risk
  4. Today
  5. You are acting as if this concept is new. All of the Sabres good players are going to leave. It’s not a matter of “if” it’s just matter of “when”. Frankly, I’m ready for this franchise to fold or leave. We hate them. They act like they hate us. Just be done with it already.
  6. He’ll be next to ask to get out. I would have a long time ago if I was any player or prospect. I’d go so far to tell them pre draft don’t bother drafting me to you poverty loser franchise. Did they already play?
  7. Trade him while his value is high!
  8. Good to see Dalhin will get some winning under his belt. Even though they won't win gold.
  9. Just reading about the Aeros AHL days on Wikipedia and boy did the team and fans get screwed by the Houston Rockets ownership group forcing their relocation.
  10. Barrasso, Lawton, LaFontaine. (5, 1, 3) Yep. The 3 highly drafted Yanks.
  11. Is that LaFontaine on the right? Assuming yes, this must be the 1983 draft. Brian Lawton went #1 to Minnesota and he’s in the middle. So I guess this is Barrasso in the Sabres jersey.
  12. My google of "what date is NHL draft" returned this image at the top; I can't place it. Help?
  13. I never understand your sports. Olympics: Four countries, but you call yourselves GB and not UK. Cricket: England and Wales are together but the others are separate. Soccer: All of them are separate. Some other sports: Ireland and NI are a unified team, but GB is still split into three. Can you get your king or minister of magic or whatever to fix this? It is confusing.
  14. No thx, no interest in trading him to Ottawa and letting him light up with his fellow German in Stutzle
  15. Could have been the Buffalo Brownfield Beach Parties? I caught Buffalo's Mallwalkers a couple times a decade ago or so. They were fun. And loud.
  16. GB still has a chance to qualify for the Olympics?
  17. Ah yes, the Houston Toxic Beaches
  18. I don’t think so, too much time has passed. Most people don’t know the origin; that the team was originally going to be the Dayton Aeros as tribute to Ohio’s aviation history. They will pick a name relevant to Houston and Texas.
  19. Once GB are eliminated I’ll be cheering for Ras and Sweden.
  20. When Houston gets a team it will be named the Houston Aeros. Book it.
  21. Well... those are certainly choices
  22. At this point I would like to see what Levi can do at the NHL level... He will be 24 at the halfway point... I know there is a development contingent out there... but, how much longer before you see what you have at the big level... I have no problem signing Riemer... thats fine, but ultimately, I dont think Riemer or UPL get us to the promised land.. I clearly could listen to the argument... well lets get better on Defense and find out... ok.. but does that happen? If so, maybe minds change... but everything constant... Levi to me is our best hope to improve our goaltending situation... I am not saying he will he may make it worse... I dont know... but I would like to find out.... UPL is who he is... .898 sv% 3.06 GA in the league for 5 years... 3 of them as a workhorse... he is pretty average stat wise... is he really really going breakout .... is think he is who he is.... Reimer is who he is.... I dont see them drastically upping their game... so who provides that chance... to me its Levi...
  23. I like Kyrou and straight up would be a good trade but it would cause some logistic issues or maybe solve a problem. Kyrou is a right shot right wing player. Although Peterka is listed at a right winger he most often plays left and has a left handed shot. If you get Kyrou he is probably taking over for Quinn which I am all for but the loss of Peterka now leaves a hole at left wing. You are left with Zucker, Benson and Greenway. Norris or Kulich could go to the left wing and maybe that is the answer. Thompson centering Kyrou would be a formidable combination.
  24. Ya Nashville has said they are okay being bad and taking a step back to get better in the long run unfortunatley there roster just isn’t good and most of the big name guys have no move clauses L’Heureux would be an amazing pick up! I’d probably want at least Lauzon as well for the back end, he led the nhl in hits multiple years, and then what about ROR he is the only vet that doesn’t have a no move and would balance cap slightly I would personally be totally fine with him coming back for that hybrid 2/3 center between him and Mcloed we still would have a gaping hole on the defense beside Power, because even if we did get Lauzon he is best as a 5/6
