Uh, OK. Why does KA seem more interested in making the Amerks better than the Sabres?

@GASabresIUFANhas been sent to a rest home to treat his uncontrollable rage and depression related to the GM's lack of activity this offseason. Georgia George wanted the GM to completely turn over the roster and get rid of all the dead wood i.e. 90% of the roster. However, he's been ordered by the psyche staff and his family to take a break from SabreSpace where he constantly works himself into a self-induced rage. I'm sure after a revitalizing respite Georgia George will become a calm and placid Sabre fan once the season starts. Out of deference to his mental health I will not mention the name Owen Power. His fuse gets lit whenever that name is mentioned. We all wish him the best. He's a treasured member of this discordant community.

Like these reactions. 🙄 I like the schedule. Going to be about to see the Caps the same weekend as Bills-Chiefs. Assuming the Bills play at home in the divisional round, there a Sabres game to go with it. March has two home game clusters to come in for.

Lazy? Looks like they put hours of effort into it. Didnt really hit with me, but the average hockey fans at work (who don’t follow the Sabres as a rule) were talking about it and raving about it. 🤷

7 extra road games in December and 4 extra road games in February. Play 0.500 from after December 1 through the end of February and they'll be ok.

4 extra home games from March 1 on too. So, presuming they're still better at home than on the road like they were last year, they're setting themselves up for a fast start and a strong finish. CAN'T have the typical January-ish collapse that they've set themselves up for. IF they're within 4 points of the playoffs the moring of March 1, they're making the playoffs.

That schedule really doesn't look terrible. Could they actually stay afloat until 2026? They are obviously not making the playoffs, but can they just make it interesting and be within 4 points until at least March 1 this season?

They'd better get off to a fast start - 7 of 10 October games are at home. (And only TWO of those are weekend games. #### me now.) They'll have played 6 extra home games before the big western road swing also of 6 games. (Yeah, Filly ain't west, but the next 5 on the trip are.) Like that 3 of the last 5 are home.

This is easily one of the worst social media posts from a professional sports team in recent memory. Just soooo incredibly dumb and lazy. I agree. But also this is just the schedule release. Good team, bad team, whatever, this is about as bad as professional sports social media gets. Like somebody should maybe be fired for how absolutely terrible this is.

The only eastern team we care about who is above on this list is Montreal. Carolina is also a smidgen above but the rest is western teams. Speaking of the West, Utah ended up at 28th with a -8.

Another negative to the "stream" is the artist payout It cascades into many branches of ssssshaving cream (sorry, I couldn't resist a lil' Demento humor), all of which = lower quality output (in general) IMO I'm 100% anti-streaming I do pay for mp3/4 files (singles/albums/etc) and I'm still out here, purchasing physical media (I picked up used a copy of Big Babú, and the giant rolling paper was still in the insert, and in pristine condition 😃). I do enjoy the advantage of culling the unnecessary fluff that comes on certain albums (I give every track a fair shake) The major advantage to internet-driven media IMO, is the speed rate of deep diving. Between YouTube, Amazon, and record label websites, I can put in some VERY satisfactory research netting me artist discoveries at an alarming rate. Because of the advantages that the digital age provides, I'm discovering quality bands/projects/etc on a daily basis!!! The internet really IS for the older millennials, and generations back IMO Those of us who built our filters, properly. He did well in a top-pair role when Utah ran into injuries last season, enough to believe he’s a true top-four defenseman. Pair him with Owen Power and Buffalo’s top four looks genuinely decent for the first time in a long time. The addition of Conor Timmins should help with things as well. He showed some promise in an elevated role with Pittsburgh, enough to believe he can form an actually good third pair with the defensively stout Mattias Samuelsson. Timmins isn’t much, but he’s probably a better option than what Buffalo was toiling with last year in the same role. Defensive depth is something this team has been missing for a while. If everything goes according to plan after this offseason, it’ll finally be a source of strength for Buffalo. And that could be what changes everything for this team.
