Just traded in my GMC sierra elevation for a new Sierra Denali; loaded up to the max. The super cruise is really cool to use, definitley helps with highway driving, hands free. Drove the 86 last week and ate a soup and sandwich on the ride and didn't have to touch the wheel at all. Little akward getting used to it at first lol. Expensive truck, but one of the smoothest I've ever driven. Now I get to work more shifts to pay for it 😂

This is a very bad question

The Bills kind of were too for a little bit, especially for the Pats. If they can graduate to the champions league, so can the Sabres one day.

I think thats it for me. I have real cognitive dissonance over fighting in the pros. It certainly entertains me, but the CTE and concussion issues are real, and should make us all feel icky for enjoying those fights. You are entertaining yourself watching men do lasting harm to each other. but I have no dissonance regarding junior players fighting. There is nothing entertaining about kids fighting.

Oh ok, so spell check got ya. I thought you kept typing allowed.

This entire board is entertainment since 2 months for me, every piece of media , youtuber that said stuff about the sabres been responded by (I get its hard 15yr playoff dirt) 1. No one wants to play in buffalo 2. Pegula don't care and should sell the team 3. Houston Sabres 4. .... Any past GM/Coach in last 15 years 5 ... list is long and distinguished

Is A Ban on Fighting Coming to Juniors?
thewookie1 replied to Porous Five Hole's topic in The Aud Club
Can't stand the writer either; he's some holier-than-thou male feminist who hates hockey and everything remotely considered "masculine" He's the reporter who ceaselessly updates on the whole WJC Scandal trial and yet always has an overt bias take of guilty until proven innocent Sings the praises about the PWHL while demonizing the NHL and CHL And you only ever hear him peep up when he can stand on a soapbox and tell everyone that physicality in hockey is evil and not inclusive. -
If responding the way you did makes you feel good, then you have issues to address. You may not be aware of it due to your lack of self-awareness but you calling someone condescending is beyond being absurd. You seem frazzled. Go take a break and refresh.
-
I'm gonna get warned or banned. I deserve it, but God did it feel good after all the condescending nonsense from you John. It. Felt. Good. See y'all in 48hrs unless something happens. I think I need to be an adult, wink wink Johnny, and unplug for a bit.

"Act like an adult"

Your level of class is on full display. Act like an adult and grow up.

Tuch may be another player who might not want to be here. We'll have to wait to see how things materialize with him. If the team struggles next season and is out of the playoffs he might prefer to be somewhere else.
-
And blocked 🚫 Continue your whining, boring, incessant trash talk of the franchise at your leisure. Also @JohnC kiss my ass.

If you don't like what I'm posting about the inept GM and the ragged owner, then don't freaking respond. I don't respond to all your pompous and obnoxious posts. So exercise some self-discipline and direct your boorish attitude to someone else. Who the freak appointed you guardian of the house. There is a simple solution: ignore and address someone else. Your lack of self-awareness how insufferable you can be (not all times) is off the charts. Your brilliance in full display.

Dallas was a genuine SC contender and very likely will be in the mix again next year. Is Robertson replaceable? I'm sure Dallas would rather have him than not. We'll see how Dallas handles the impending cap challenges. As it has been said before by a number of people, good organizations find a way to work within the cap and keep the core together when the window of opportunity is still open. I think they will but maybe they won't. Dallas is a serious franchise that wants to seriously compete. If they can find a way to keep him they will. If they can't do it, they will get a good return for him.
-
First the constant Sabres bashing in your posts is as I've already noted, ***** annoying. It's in every thing you post regardless of the topic. Second, why would Dallas trade Robertson? Because they don't think they can sign him next year and believe they can trade him and still get better. Will they? Idk, sounds like probably not but they might think they can use that 7.75 million this year and 10 million every year after for players that will help them win playoff games. Colorado traded Rantanen, guess they are at the children's table. Calgary traded Tkachuk, children's table. Teams trade for players sometimes.
-
They are not going to buy him out. The answer to this team problem comes from within..... 🤣
-
Everyone... meaning like 2 posters ever?
-
I would agree JohnC but my thought is this: Dahlin and Thompson are not going anywhere. EVERYONE else IMO 'could' be available for the right package. Afraid to deal Tuch? Remember when Florida dealt for Tkachuk and they traded a 100 point winger as part of that deal and Florida was ripped for it? Sabres can't be afraid right now. Be bold. Aggressive. And have the right plan to truly build a winner here. Example: I may catch flak for this, but if Jason Robertson was every truly available (highly doubt it now) but I would not be afraid to include Tuch. Players like Robertson do not grow on trees.
-
Are you not aware that Dallas was not in the Stanley Cup finals with Robertson? Maybe Dallas considers him replaceable. You're totally missing the point. You argued no good franchise would trade a useful player even though that's exactly what Edmonton did. It's not a comparison of who's a better player McLeod or Robertson, it's a discussion of why teams trade players.
-
It's likely that Byrum will be moved. So if Byrum is dispatched, then the return very likely be a different style of defender. Power is staying no matter who is brought in or sent out.

I would agree with this. Power is far from a finished product. My biggest issue was paying Power 8 years. Would have preferred a bridge deal. Would have provided us with 2M or more of cap space the next few years, and also made Power a more attractive trade piece of we did decide to go that route. -
I am not on the Dobson bandwagon. We need RHD options who complement Dahlin and Power perfectly.Dahlin and Power take up over 19M AAV, I don't need another 10M defenseman. Way too much $ to allocate to defense. Plus 3 #1 PP defenseman isn't an ideal use of assets.
