  1. Past hour
  2. If he can find better sure, but can also do much worse than him.
  3. Oh heck yeah its a horrible sell especially when the perception is that you are pinching pennies... people tend to not give you theirs... they dont turn it around this year I see a real attendance issue as well as a player exodus issue... I hate the doom and gloom, but If we thought last year was it... the anger was high and the apathy was starting... this year... I think the apathy ends up being very high and people just wont go....
  4. He wasted no time in carrying out his threat to deploy NG troops and federal agents in DC to act as a municipal police force. Why is it hard to believe his threats to do the same in Baltimore, Portland, and other cities are just bluster? Many of his threats have become reality since January and given that, we all need go assume he means what he says, regardless of his unparalleled penchant for uttering pure crap out of his pie hole on a daily basis. Again, I urge everyone to read the Project 2025 paper. It is a fascist authoritarian manifesto.
  5. Today
  6. Doesn't kick in until next year. Thus, no current cap issue. He plays out the last year of his current deal. They did the same with OT Brown.
  7. First order of business, fire duffer
  8. There is a good reason Mittelstadt isn't here and no, I wouldn't trade for him, even draft picks.
  9. Would you give up a first round pick for him? I would be open to it.
  10. I agree this is just about where I'd have him projected. If we take the last 17 games and his 5 assists that would average out to be approximately a 14% increase in production on his two year average. If we would project a 15-20% increase in production from that small sample, that puts him in the 12-14/25-26, 39-41 point range.
  11. I knew what you meant, and I agree with it. Just having some fun.
  12. That is exactly all I am saying. Any decent forward for draft picks is a plus. Not better than he was, but the roster better than it currently is. Temporary hole fill while Helenius develops. You got a better player who is available for draft picks I'm all for it.
  13. I honestly don't know how they get out of it. They've dug a deep hole. As the cap rises they will have more and more trouble keeping the team profitable. Revenues have to rise so higher ticket prices? That'll be a tough sell on a loser. Especially if another round of stars exit like you said.
  14. Then the avs ditched him. Cause he doesn’t have it. And coming here he’s just going to revert back to Jeff skinner status give me a grinder who can’t pot it in
  15. Still from 2019 draft, not sure besides Boldy and Caufield if there are players we could have picked better behind Cozens. Time will show how he adapts in Ottawa, but his first minor stint showed the same flaws as in Buffalo. Maybe he needs a summer to adjust. As for Norris, He is a 2C for me , hope he doesn't get injured too much. A 70 game season with 60 points is probably a win for us
  16. I didn't dive deep.. but this might help your questions on NY https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/new-york-democrats-introduce-new-congressional-map/
  17. The threatening part is what I focus on... he threatens a lot. He doesn't always follow through. Unfortunately I have no clue which way it'll go until it goes that way and the threatening piece of it is what is really sad and scary. As for DOGE, I'm still convinced that nothing more than a dog and pony show to get access to sensitive data on the American public to help facilitate actions at a later date and the whole "fallout" between Musk and Trump is merely a ruse to make people think otherwise. It's all 100% sketchy performed under the auspices of addressing the hard issues while not actually addressing anything.
  18. He's out there every night swinging the biggest **** on the team. Size matters and he has it where it counts.
  19. Can he get SOG added to the scoreboard overlay? Then he wins.
  20. The DOGE stats have been published by several outlets. One doesn’t need a “left slanted” article to read the data. It is what it is. Question: Is deploying the National Guard and federal agents to act as a municipal police force the intended use for those agencies? Especially when the reason given by Tump is the rampant violent crime in a city? When actual violent crime is down 25% in that city? Is threatening to deploy NG and federal agents to act as municipal police departments in other cities where crime is also down the right thing? Trump is assembling his own brand of brownshirts. It is wrong on every level imaginable.
  21. Perhaps Mitts having a problem with the hard practice was the reason he was moved? He might have improved while in Buffalo and been serviceable by Buffalo standards but he's clearly not been serviceable by Boston or Colorado standards. Why do we want him? To further the Buffalo standard? No thanks.
  22. Yeah, it's scripted PR nonsense for the most part. But there were a couple things I took from it. Lindy sound bite on culture. He clearly thinks the locker room is immature. The constant use of the word 'intelligence'. Methinks they really disliked cozens mental makeup.
  23. MAYBE Mitts learned something while he was away playing with the big boys. Remember that quote about his first Avs practice and how it was the most difficult practice he had ever taken part in? If they can get Mitts for cheap I'd say why not, but I'm not inclined to try that route again. He really doesn't fit anywhere in the line-up as currently constructed. That is unless his game has changed to the better while he was away.
