  1. Past hour
  2. Damn wow haha. Yeah my (relative) youth is showing.
  3. I think other GMs might have hung on to Zegras a little more tightly. I can’t think of another GM more likely to be annoyed by him than Verbeek.
  4. Yep, always best to see how the whole think plays out. Two players the Sabres could use have moved for prices the Sabres could afford: If when the dust settles we’ve improved more than Marchment and Zegras for Krebs, good.
  5. If they offer the 3rd for Peterka you take it and then you flip that 3rd for Dobson or somebody we need. Flip the 3rd and the 9th if needed. Can't see nobody wanting that 3rd pick which could be a Frondell or Misa. Or keep the pick and flip Norris. other options. We have so many young assets this can't be that hard. There are only 2 teams at this point who have done absolutely nothing and that's us and the Leafs. It's ridiculous.
  6. Doubt it. Zegras had issues. Declining production, injuries, doesn't play defense. I think a lot of teams weren't interested. Philly willing to gamble since they have the assets to trade without affecting anything else. Michkov-Zegras-Konecny as a line could be sick, but probably have a lot of goals scored against them too. Might be entertaining though. Maybe they'll Michigan pass for a double Michigan.
  7. Also true!
  8. In order to get a verdict on the matter, the court will allow this indiscretion.
  9. Russians love the Rangers. Makes Schnieder and Miller more likely to be traded.
  10. Wow, those eighteen months or so that I missed really brought in some quality posters.
  11. Today
  12. Pay Tooch what he’s worth. This team desperately needs credibility.
  13. 3 teams in New York! this is interesting
  14. PSE was dissolved several years ago. Who’s the “we” in Pete’s statement? Weird.
  15. a gentleman's wager it is
  16. 31 players paid attention to their combine preparation.
  17. That deal looks good as the cap increases. He’ll be an offensive and defensive asset for the next few years. After that he becomes serviceable but still a leadership asset to mentor younger guys. Just do it KA.
  18. Well, that seems like a win for Buffalo
  19. Just let them talk, they cannot shut their mouth to save themselves.
  20. Athletic anonymously polled 50 top prospects. Among their questions: Which NHL team would you least like to draft you? One said Buffalo. Seven said Winnipeg (hi @Thorny) 2 each Montreal and Toronto. 31 said they'd be happy with whoever picked them. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6390727/2025/06/23/2025-nhl-draft-prospects-player-poll-ncaa/
  21. Ya, Jarmo should know everything there is to know on this idea. Provorov has his issues but adding him to the mix shouldn't make us worse.
  22. Of course Foligno's best days are behind him, but he'd still instantly be the toughest guy on the team and he'd bring in his leadership and work ethic. I'd rather have him in practice yelling at Quinn to pick it up rather than having him on Minnesota shoving Quinn to the ice with one hand and a nasty look. We desperately need some hard tough leaders to help whip these country club kids into shape.
  23. Until the roster set it's tough to say and I don't make money bets but if want a gentleman's bet sure.
  24. How many teams are in the business of acquiring futures with the forthcoming cap increases? Seems like a buyer's market.
  25. I'll bet you 50 bucks Zach Benson produces above the 45pts in 82 mark next year. That's 0.55pts per game or higher.
