that implies an extension. -
Yes, Keon does, which why the Bills were not afraid of drafting him despite his slower 40 times compared to most WRs. The thought was he is not a track guy and does not know how to get a good start, but he plays fast. Unfortunately, a fast start off of the LOS is really important in the NFL. Keon's high max speed has not translated into game speed so far.

That's not what you were arguing though. You took issue with my comment of building around him. If he's top 6, you are building around him. There's no need to argue just for the sake of arguing. -
I talked to him once. Of course I brought up "no goal" and he laughed and said something to the effect that he has met about 50,000 people from Buffalo that were at that game. Funny guy.
-
Uh, no. Why waive a tradeable asset? Goalies are like gold right now and any one of them will be claimed. They already created the 3 headed monster, they still have not seen enough of Ellis, and Lyon was hurting in some way according to the NHL network broadcast. If they want to keep all their assets then you send Östlund down when Norris is ready. Otherwise you waive Dunne but I would prefer we keep him.
-
So because the Blues were stupid, we should follow suit?
-
Play him at home his first game back, we have a bigger medical staff there.

Co-GM more likely, for now. -
I have not been to the MMA in over 15 years. It was finished in 1996 and is now 29 years old. The Aud was used for 56 years. What are people on Buffalo saying now about KeyBank Arena. Surely it’s not time to rebuild a new one. Would renovations bring it into the 21st century?

I thought everyone knew Jarmo Kekalainen was advising the Sabres? There are multiple reports that Jarmo and Kevyn have been scouting games, and other scouts and the occasional GM come to Sabres games. Could be nothing, could be something. -
Norris entering the building.
-
Does anyone remember what the value of the Sabres was compared to what Pegula paid for it?
-
I remember a few years ago when the watch word from management was how fast the new guys, like Malenstyn were. How did that work out? Speed is great, but speed without skill isn't all that helpful.

You would trade all that just to see Hughes walk in a year ? he's been quite open to wanting to play with his brothers in NJ -
What a joke. If I knew missing the playoffs would be the end of Beane and McDermott I would sign up for it. As a Sabres fan, I know they are here for awhile still

The Bills signed Brandin Cooks.

He will be on our top six. So if he plays up to his intended role, his salary will not be considered to be out of line. -

Reading stuff on twitter about Tuch's wife being from BC. That could be a thing. Byram is another name they apparently like. Quinn for Power as the primaries? That would interest me depending on details. My dream, Quinn Hughes, Petersson and Garland for Quinn, Norris, Power. Tuch (and whatever picks/prospects make that happen). I'd like to keep Tuch, but I don't want to pay him 8 years at 11.5 as rumored and I don't want him gone for nothing. Quinn, Power and Norris are all players who disappoint me regularly in one way or another so any of them can go and I'd welcome it. If it's me I'm bumping Krebs out of the line up. Norris is 2C, McLeod goes back to 3C and Kozak stays on the grind line. When Kulich comes back something else will have to give. -
Ellis, whom you acquired for nothing.

Except Norris doesn't have a broken bone, he has a bum shoulder and now (possibly) a groin injury (or something similar since it's mid body off a face off). One good hit into the boards and that shoulder is gone. -

Excuse me, but it's not an "exotic notion". He has an 8 million cap hit until 2030. You trade for that you obviously have him pegged in to be part of your top 6 core. -
you are confused. You would have to sell the asset to realize the gain.
-
Greenway should go on IR till he can play every game. He is our worst player.

Well that is 180 degrees from what Ruff said he plans on doing next week when Norris shows back up; but we shall see.
