Teammates I decided to watch some this game, streaming on ESPN +. I have complained in the past about the ESPN+ App and poor video and audio quality. I now have 1G fiber and the video quality looks so much better. Go Sabres! Gonna be hard to stick with a preseason game though, the Lions and Ravens are on MNF. That should be a good one.

Agreed and Sam is an excellent comparison in the way he got knocked down. I guess I just don't think of Quinn as soft and avoiding contact. Maybe even in the same respect, that I never thought Sam was soft. I could be wrong, maybe he is. Hope not. We have it on.

I have to disagree. The color guy is constantly talking during the play by play. That's a serious NO NO in Hockey Broadcasting 101. I realize it preseason, but its super annoying regardless.

This broadcast team is pretty good

It’s preseason. I’m in the best posting shape of my life. But I’m gonna take it day by day and play it simple. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

I kind of feel bad that I don't care. Usually, I'll try to watch most of the preseason. I just don't have that same energy this year. They haven't fully broken me yet. Not enough changes to the failing roster of last year to give me hope for major improvements. Debbie Downer rant over. Enjoy the game for those who are watching!

Before the leg injuries, Quinn was like a young version of Reinhart regarding contact. He'd get knocked down a lot but wouldn't necessarily lose the puck and he was pretty good at forechecking to get it back (and then get knocked down again without losing it, and so on and so forth). But he was way easier to get away from the puck last season and he wasn't nearly as effective at getting it back. Will be interesting to see which version shows up this season and we get our 1st glimpse of it tonight.
