Peters says Levi has asked to be moved

Tragedy in paradise -
If you dislike Power for being weak on the puck, Johnson is even worse. He just has for mojo on offense despite not being the physical specimen

No, what actually needs to stop is people running with this taking everything they say at face value even when it’s complete nonsense BS rumors just for engagement. Why are you taking this at face value as if it’s confirmed fact? That’s the real question here. The reason why these people throw BS at the wall is because people like you run with it as if it’s just for sure true whenever they say random *****

Is it me or are young players just throwing small fits when they get what they don’t want? Another reason to hold on to Ellis (or could be the reason we claimed Ellis).
-
Oh, he wasn't that drunk

Peters broke the Eichel Trade based on his relationship with the Tuch Family. Since then his record has been spotty at best

It's more than just line shuffling because of injuries. NOT ENOUGH TALENT on top 6..the same reason for the last dozen years! Build a team around Tage Thompson? Really? Tage Thompson? Nice try. Tage is a solid support piece, but if he is the STAR forward.....that's telling. The way the Sabres are built, every line needs to play like a fourth line...forget the pretty finesse stuff, just crash the net and get physical. They obviously don't have enough skill players up front and not enough toughness on the backend.

But after Georgiev. Dun-dun-dunnnnnhhh 😇

My major concern going in was which team could chase the other’s starter and get to each other’s weak bullpen. I’m shocked but not surprised that the Jays have done just that with the exception of Yamamoto. If they chase Snell again tonight, I like their chances to win one of two back home.

Rumor started by drunk dude 1:30 AM in the Distillery.

They can say no. What needs to stop is players who have performed like dog shi!t (and getting worse each time) when they get the chance repeatedly to earn the job acting like they are being held back.

Peters says Levi has asked to be moved

“Prior to retuning to Rochester” was before Ellis. It’s clickbait garbage designed for you to listen to the podcast. -
That was before we added Ellis. That said sorry Levi you're stuck here unless we get a really great offer or he proves he's not a NHL goalie.

Right after he signed a two year contract during last offseason? -
At some point this has got to stop.

With respect to Power and him being more appreciably physical, it's not going to happen. That's not his game and never will be. What you want to see from him is better positioning/angles on defense. And from that standpoint, I see some improvement. I also see him being more aggressive on offense. The problem that I see with Dahlin is that he is trying to do too much to carry the load. He needs to stop pressing and let the game come to him instead of forcing the action. My problem that I have with Ruff is he's too old school. When he negatively labels a player the player, the player gets sidelined. Johnson can be a useful third pairing defenseman. He's wasting a useful asset for a franchise that can't afford to waste any assets. Our owner's staffing preferences can be peculiar. He has weighed this franchise down with his inexplicable major hires.

Worthy would have been better under Daboll, who would have made him his gadget guy, like he did with McKensie. And much like Reid does currently. We may not care where he lines up, but OCs certainly do, as does Reid. For instance, and once again citing his off ball reliance, you seldom see him lined up at the X because he’s really not good at beating press man on the ball. He is too easily disrupted with a simple one armed chuck which is enough to throw off the timing on a play. He’s better in the slot and out of bunch formations, which Reid also recognizes. And he’s a lot more effective since Rice came back, too. We have enough slot guys as it is. Sure, it would be great to have his speed, but that in and of itself doesn’t make him a scheme fit for every offense. I agree that our receivers aren’t great at creating separation, but Allen has also missed guys when open, either with poor passes or simply not seeing them. It was glaring during the Atlanta game which I had the pleasure of seeing from on high. And I wasn’t surprised when Kubiak said as much in his Buffalo News critique afterward. It was also interesting to hear Allen speak of not trusting his feet after the Panther game, which told me his timing patterns were off. It’s easy to blame it all on the receivers and think that one small, fast guy would make it all better but I don’t think it’s that simple.
