If this iteration of the Bills is going to win the Super Bowl, then Kincaid's gotta get it figured out. He's got the most upside of any of the team's pass catchers.

I’m always disappointed by how easily he’s tackled sometimes.

Can someone explain why people get all juiced up for the schedule release?  I don’t even know who the Bills play until the night before.  What’s the excitement about?

You get to see all the prime time games, get to finally make plans for those games. Just more football stuff that people want.

I make my plans the day of.  I guess I’m built different.

I can see there being a lot of interest with it being the last year in the stadium.  I'd love to get up there at some point, but I doubt it will happen.  The only real scheduling thing I care about this time is when they'll be playing in Charlotte this year.  My friends keep saying we should go to a random game there, but now I actually care.

Because the NFL has to hype everything they do to get people juiced up. Turn it into a spectacle that fans don't want to miss. 'We'll be cutting live to Commissioner Goodell taking a dump. But first, here's Shaboozy performing his latest hit song ...'

It's become so tiresome. The Draft has gotten beyond ridiculous.

I actually really enjoy the draft and watch most of it (definitely the first two nights).  That makes sense to me.  These are important players that can shape your team. Finding out the Bills play the dolphins week 3 on Thursday Night Football doesn’t really move the needle and I’ll forget about it until the day before.

I won't comment on whether the league's massive efforts to promote the schedule release is good, bad, ugly, etc.

I will say: For those fans of NFL teams who are STH's, who travel to one or more away games, and/or who try to schedule their lives around their team's games, the release of the schedule is significant.

For my part, I'm already mildly dreading the onslaught of primetime games at the stadium. Sunday at 1:00 is the only life for me.

I too enjoy the draft from that perspective. Have for many, many years. It's the presentation and peripheral stuff that's gotten out of hand, IMO.

Totally get the logistical aspect. Just curious as a one-person survey, but do you feel compelled by the hype to watch it this evening versus reading about it in the morning? (If you set aside the fact that there is playoff hockey going on at the same time). The NFL wants eyeballs on them all year long, if possible.

Agreed.

It's already a worry. Out of division, I see Philly, KC, Cinci and Balt. !  ACK !

The good news is all 4 are home games. Road opponents look to be a bit easier ...on paper.

God is betting against the Bills on Fanduel.

Meh I’m not worried now. Lots of things can happen between now and then and as you mentioned they are all home games. If any are in prime time it’s probably a good thing for Buffalo.  Josh loves him some prime time.

There will be some juicy options for prime time games on that home slate of games.

Now the internet talking heads are discussing the possible schedule based on leaks. Bitch (these are men to be clear), wait two hours until the official schedule comes out.  It’s not that freaking important.

I won’t tune in. I might stumble onto it?

Otherwise, I’ll rely on Twitter to update me.

Some people need to make plane flight and hotel reservations.

I’m assuming those people aren’t on twitter breaking down the Bills win probability for each game. I’m sure they are just fine with the 8pm schedule release.  Gather their info and make plans.  It’s the whole narrative of people trying to turn it into an event, like the draft.  Except it’s not.  It’s just a schedule of when they play.

To be fair, the new Shaboozy song *is* a banger.

Yeah, I’m with Inky here.  The population of fans watching so they can make lightning quick travel decisions isn’t fueling the schedule hype.

Grown ass men with careers and family breaking down in fine detail the pros and cons of the schedules of teams outside of their rooting favorites for hours.  This is well marketed hype that the drooling masses suck up like everything else the league does.

As my kids would say (although they're increasingly far from "kids"): "Go touch grass."
