dejeanerret
He'll run the defense. Interesting he'd be willing to go the assistant route with all of his HC experience. https://twitter.com/NYP_Brooksie/status/878644041767956481
Eleven
Plenty of former HCs become assistants. Not just in hockey, either. Think Don Zimmer or Wade Phillips or Dave Tippett. Edited June 24, 2017 by Eleven

atoq
I heard he's been hired by the Rangers to help manage Henrik's workload by distributing starts to the backup.

calti
goes to show that the thought of retirement can be scary. guy has a zillion bucks from coaching..is pushing 60 yet still would be bored out of his mind if he stopped working. sounds like me exc for the zillion part. Two or less
How soon until Ruff replaces AV as the head boss? Edited June 25, 2017 by Briere48
inkman
I heard he's been hired by the Rangers to help manage Henrik's workload by distributing starts to the backup. I thought Lindy was known was the exact opposite of this. Overloading his starter, ignoring his backup causing fatigue for the starter as rustiness for The backup. Randall Flagg
I think AV is a very good coach, regardless of whether or not he gets fired in NY
