Assquatch
The white blazer beats the pigeon I guess. Anyone with a high-def feed catch what was scrawled on the back? I saw "Play the system" and what looked like "Enjoy the challenge". (Sabres Alumni?)

spndnchz
Ruff came up with the idea on a road trip. "Following each game one player is awarded the jacket for his performance, dedication or determination, then writes an inspirational message on the back. Kinda like the pigeon. Article: http://sabres.nhl.co...s.htm?id=524347 I see. The article didn't say it but it is implied that each player is supposed to finish the sentence that begins "I will..." Now "...enjoy the challenge" and "...play the system" make more sense.
Assquatch
(I might as well make it three in a row) They should also pick a "goat of the game" and make said player wear the old jersey. After last night's game, Staffod Stafford would probably have had to sport them both. [Of course I meant Stafford, not Staffod Beeblebrox. That Aud Smell
hey, we're, like, famous ... and stuff. It's quickly caused quite a stir of Internet discussion when it's been spotted on television. http://www.buffalonews.com/2010/04/07/1012335/sabres-start-a-tradition-unlike.html "The Will is inside you..." :death:
inkman
I love the idea. I want these guys to keep it loose. We all enjoy appreciation in the work place. Let's hope they have some fun but stay focused and play with guile and determination. The Sabres play with much skill and apptitude!!
