I hate the Sens..hope we beat the 1000-0, and kick the chit of Neal , and beat Alfie in the head for good measure!.If we aint going to the playoffs, you are going wounded! Just kidding, but I do hate that team. Have to watch with my 85 yr old great uncle tonight as he drives his way back to Ottawa from Florida and is staying here overnight tonight.Lordy, that man can pile on the chit better than anyone i know. Will be a long night if I have to keep hearing how they are whoppin on the Sabres and their 3 best guys are hurt. I want losses, but please God do not make this night any worse and deliver me a Sabre victory tonight :worthy:

I have not read the entire thread, so apologies if this already mentioned. But with TPegs money..think the Sabres would be willing to eat some of that contract to get a pick or 2 for Staf? I really am not sure how that works, but know there is a mechanism in the new CBA to let teams do that.

I am getting closer to the opinion better trades are going to be there in the summer than by this Wednesday. I will say this upfront, I watch zero minor/junior hockey, so I do not have an opinion on the depth of the draft. That being said, was listening to someone on NHL radio the other day say outside the Top 3 , the quality of re draft drops fast this year. The host agreed, and they went on to say getting a player in the 1st will be hard, let alone the second. Always seems like a crap shoot to me outside the top 10 or so, but just posting what I heard.

I can say I age my Mad Elf from year to year and do belive it taste better with the year aging. I am not sure if i even age it correctly, just standing up in the back of the beer fridge. One must be careful with this beer, as i am no expert but it is certainly not what I would consider a "boozy" beer. One would never know it is somuch a higher ABV. In terms of price, bout $16 a six i believe, i get t twelve every year and that is plenty as I tend to open one bottle and usually share with someone, or have one at most at any one time. http://www.troegs.co...ad_elf_ale.aspx

BTW, when atr the Total Wine yesterday, picked up some more Hennepin, and the bottle has changed, purple label now instead of the yellow. Had to really look to make sure it was what i wanted. Have not been to Carolina, but pretty sure I have had their beers Have a good friend that lives in Wake Forest,I am pretty sure his neighbor is part owner /investor or something like that. We had a sixtel of something last time I was there. But Wake seems a long way from Holly Springs. Not good, I agree. I would prolly be divorced given similar circumstances

Sure enough, there is a dedicated beer tour, The Brew Ridge Trail...nice. . I would argue Chara was no where near the force he is with the Bruins when he was a Sen.I am not saying he was not very good to excellent DMan, he absolutely was. But, first 5 years with the Isles pretty non descript, and then Ottawa managemnt felt Redden was a better choice to sign then Chara. And yes, I get Ottawa would have signed both if they could afford, but still they chose Redden over Chara. Charra become truly a perenial Norris candidate after 7 years in the league is all i am saying..this is Myers 4th

Agreed, but it was surprising to hear e apologized...maybe he is growing up. Chara was not Chara with the Sens or Isles, maybe Myers grows into it as well.
