Never seem to get the Southern Tier on tap down here.. must have been nice. The one summer i don't like is the Sunshine Pils from Troegs...and I usually love all of their beers.

Seems early, but starting to think of the summer beers now. Picked up my first 6 of Bells Oberon and had a few on the back porch this weekend. But the one I really like is the Hop Sun from Southern Tier. Website says that is out in March..so should be at the Total Wine in the next week or so.

I am not really a gadget guy. and really thought this was an idiotic idea until i tried it.

1) The little green swizzle sticks that fit the lid opening in Starbucks. Sure beats having coffee spilling all over your seats when getting more than a couple drinks. 2) This powered razor. when wife came home with it, thought what a waste..but i love the thing. Made a big comeback sinse the movie hit..my son plays every morning before school for 20 minutes..he is in 5th grade. BTW, i went to LaSalle in the Falls..had a gym teacher there for three of my years..Vinnie Mazza if anyone remembers him. Hated being a teacher..everyday at gym was this.. white guys in gym 1 playing floor hockey black guys in gym 2 playing hoops "exceptions need to be cleared by me...i will be in my office rest of period..no screwups"

It was the norm at the Y during the Saturday morning program until the i would say 73 or so..whenever they started letting girls participate on Saturday mornings. Being 11 at the time..all we could think is they have their own damn Y..why to they have to come to ours and make us swim with suits now???

Neither Locker room in high school and college had stalls, got used to doing your bidness in the wide open.

Not to ruin anyones day..but i must be one of those "old people" LOL. (You all should thank yourselves you have not met me and do not have that visual burned into your brains) I am 49 and just used to guys being naked in the locker room. I mean i can see if you are lounging around and all, but i never understood hanging out in a locker room. Go in, get my shower, get out. Maybe a shave, brush teeth, deodorant ...done.

We were about 4 weeks early this year..generally 3rd to last week in March or so. Plus , some of the damn leaves are still clinging to some oaks, so I am still raking leaves

Been that kind of winter..I started cutting here in Richmond a month ago..and now do it every three days, thats how fast it is growing.

Just had this for the first time a wekk or so ago..really enjoyed it. Started training again today..so a little mpore healthy during the week for me now.. Smoked Chicken breast made on the egg yestreday with greens for lunch..grilled tilapia and asparagus for dinner. I loathe Tilapia, but guess it was pretty good price at the Costco yesterday. As an aside, was in the Kroger over the weekend and fou nd some butter labeled "old Fasioned Butter" comes in like a 2 inch round. I bought a 6 oz round, pretty pricey at like $8/lb..but oh my. Had it on some DiCamillo toast, and later that night on a fresh baguette...i know I am close to 50 but it mighten be better than sex.

Left over spaghets and meatballs for lunch..how do you all do that? I usually microwave, but think of putting in a pan with a little oil and heating it up that way. What say you?

Long story short, but had to go with the kids to Subway for lunch. Daughter orders a cold cut club with no bologna. Lady behind the counter picks up a sheet of parchment paper with what I assume is bologna, throws a couple pieces away, then starts to put the rest on the roll. I say ..wait, no bologna..and she proceeds to tell me that the rest is salami and ham???HUNH???that stuff looks just like bologna...come to find out is turkey ham and salami?????WTF is that...tell her she can chuck the rest.cause that ain't what we ordered. I have never relly like Subway, now know maybe a reason why. Their chicken prolly made out of turkey too! LOL Pork Chops and a sage vermouth pan sause, frozen peas, and roasred baby reds for dinner.

Doing the Alton Brown recipe for wings tonight...steam for 10 minutes, chill for at least an hr, 425 oven for 40 minutes. Not quite frying, but best baked wings i have had. Some slaw on the side..

Really? You are having lamb? Lol Driving lat night..some kind of Chicken FlatBread thing from Wendys. Okay I guess, but not made foe mobile eating. Guests this evening, duck breat with asian noodles and roasted pears..all easy stuff so i can concentrate on drinking!

Nothing better than something in a long slow cook/braise and the aromas in the house

I have had a misearble last couple of days of eating LOL. So nice yesterday, fired up the outdoor fireplace and tuscon grill and tried a Flay recipe that included goat cheese spread and a mustard lemon suace/drizzle for bone in ribeyes. Also did some teeny tiny taters roasted with rosemary.. Got distracted by a phone callI ,overcooked the steaks, burned the taters everything just sucked. But the beer was cold, had the Prisoner for the wine..and it was a nice cool night eating out on the back porch next to the fire. Today fried egg sammy for lunch which sucked too!! BTW, recommend a tuscon grill for anyone who has a real wood fireplace, either indoor or out. I hate to say this..but seems to me ever sinse that bar fight Kassian has not been the same player. I don't know if that knocked some of the "wild" out of him, he just seems out of sorts on the ice... not the same guy the sabres drafted. Maybe his life his better, but his hockey has suffered. Now, I watch zero Western confernece except when we play them...so I have no idea if this is good or bad trade...but I am not crushed kassian is leaving

That does sound good..very good. Thinking of whats for tonight's Sunday dinner..looks nice outside, think it will be something on the egg. Last night went to the VCU-Mason game with son and his friends..cheeburger cheeburger after game..if you have never had their Onion Rings..wow they are awesome.

Last night was braised short ribs ...on the road tonight..right now popcorn and Victory Headwater draft in a bar, just showed the Ennis play from yesterday on the tube. Waiting on clients for dinner..not much good here..but at least its on expense report

Nugget Nectar out tomorrow at the Troegs Brewery in Hershey...wow can't believe i have a scheduled demo at hershey tomorrow...imagine that coincidense :thumbsup: Best beer ever in my mind BTW, any one in Richmond want a case..let me know I can get it for you
