JBot's recent tactics are kind of like how we manage food at home. We buy expensive stuff (ex. steaks, seafood, etc.) and throw it in the freezer. It sits there day after day, week after week with no action. We decide it's finally time to do something with it and take it out. By then it has freezer burn and we decide it's no good and throw it out with no return and/or go get fast food. He has mishandled situations like BOGO and Scandella and went after convenient (but useless) targets like Frolik. He cannot be trusted to salvage what assets we still have left.

Sorry, but the caption of this video is incorrect. It was actually before the game when JBot heard that Montreal got a 2nd and 4th for Scandella.

Personally, I think the bigger problem is Mrs. Pegula. She is a legend in her own mind. Unfortunately the rest of the league may look upon the Buffalo Sabres upper eschelon and think "What a joke!" Sorry!

Number 27 was a true heavyweight and IMHO one of the best all-time! On another note, I really miss the ol' linemen like Scappanello, Finn and my personal favorite - John D'Amico!

Unfortunately, too many teams look at Buffalo as an opportunity to play their backup netminders. They know we have problems finishing!

I would also add top management as well. Whether it be GM or coaches, they may 'pass' on an opportunity in Buffalo. It's not about the money either. A proven coach can take his time waiting for the right situation vs. feeling pressure to take the first opening that comes. Yes I know there are only so many NHL GM and HC jobs, but there is enough turnover that something will be worth waiting for. Even though we have Jack and Dahlin, I don't know if that's enough.

Seth Jones is out indefinitely for the CBJ's. Ankle injured against Colorado. I would not mind seeing a deal, maybe a CBJ sign & trade for one of our right-handed D?

I see a light....unfortunately it is from another train on the same track coming right at us. The JBot mother-of-all trainwrecks is coming when he mismanages this team beyond repair in the weeks and months to come.
