Perhaps....hope you're right. He was maybe overshadowed by Alex Nylander in the 2016 draft, but may end up being the only bright spot from that year.

Yes, they've been horrible for decades and it speaks volumes. Maybe Pegula finally realized that since they can't draft worth sh!t, why bother spending big bucks funding a large scouting organization that still can't draft work crap and save a few bucks to fund the yacht. Horrible!

I despise the Leafs with every fiber in my being....but if this were true, then YES I do this and run.

I've been critical of both Mitts and TT in the past, going as far to say that neither will make an impact in the NHL. Fast forward, in my optimistic scenario I could possibly now see them as part of a 3rd line that could generate some offense like the Roy, Max and Vanek once did.

Works for me right now....much better than the Staal debacle at 2C this year or even the Mojo experiment from last season.

I won't disagree with this....I just don't like the tactic. That being said, I'll beat a dead horse and say I hate 3 on 3 and shootouts because it's not real hockey.

Something I really hate about 3 on 3 is why Buffalo willingly moves the puck back out to neutral ice vs. trying to make something happen while in the offensive zone....drives me nuts!

Bryson has that ability to make great first breakout passes out of the zone in tight spaces....something I was hoping Montour could do more often. Also, his ability to accelerate and carry the puck out of the zone is better than any other D'man we have.
