I am hoping he does well enough to me forget that we traded a 2nd and Gilbert as part of the deal. So far he seems to be fitting in well with a little more talent than what Joki provided.

I almost think he’s a bit cocky too about himself….and certainly with no reason (based on his results). He has stated multiple times that he “knows” what it takes to win, but he and only he (and Terry) actually believe this to be the case.

IDK - I’d rather have both Petterson and Norris as a bonafide 1C and 2C. Move TNT over to wing where he belongs and then let the other pieces fall into place with McLeod, Krebs, Kulich, etc. Our top 2 lines would be much more dangerous along with much better puck handling and playmaking center men.

IDK with respect to giving a crap. IMHO - his ego is the problem….where he feels he’s so smart and doesn’t need any help from an outside proven NHL POHO type of leader. He can’t get out of his own way, which means no Calvary is coming to save this franchise.

What's interesting to me is what does JJP want in regards to term? Does he favor a bridge that might enable him to get out of dodge or does he want a 7 year type deal? How much does he love playing in Buffalo....whether it is a good team or terrible one?

Pound for pound, I can't think of another Sabre player who can hit so well since Michael Peca.
