Very knowledgeable BUT………his voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. Dan is bad enough as a play-by-play guy and adding Marty for color may push me over the ledge.

Rosen was a poor pick to begin with, but to your question he simply isn’t the right piece that Buffalo needs right now. Other teams may need a young skilled forward who might bring some offense. The Sabres already have such pieces, but lack other ones that I hope we can trade for.

Cowardice is one of the words I associate with Pegula. He has been too afraid to face the fans and media to explain himself, but rather uses GMKA as his mouthpiece and fall guy. That’s not the only word I associate with him, but it fits him IMHO

Part of me wonders if the Sabres might actually be done with their search, going solely with Eric Staal as their answer. In their minds, they only needed a special advisor, not a senior one.

Absolutely nobody of quality experience will even consider joining this crap show, having to report to Adams.

Seems simple to me…..if they’re still under contract, then Pegula doesn’t want to pay for anybody to do nothing.

I would add that Tuch will also want out of this circus.

IMHO - I don’t see Byram signing a bridge deal unless both sides agree to arbitration. If Byram doesn’t want to be here, then I am inclined to believe Pegula and Adams will try to move him vs. overpaying to keep him. If other teams believe Byram doesn’t want to be here, then they can and should lowball Adams.

To this point, everyone in the league understands that Buffalo is once again dealing from a position of weakness....so GMKA won't get much in return if he does try to move Byrum via trade. The amount of low ball offers will be numerous and Howdy Doody will have to take the best of the crap any team will offer.

Great, so he’s too busy or distracted to worry about having the most unsuccessful team in the NHL. Maybe he should hire a POHO to run things so he can focus on his other priorities…..oh wait, he doesn’t trust anybody else and wants to make sure he’s being heard…..nevermind.

Terry and Kevyn are trying to save money, so Matty Ellis will add strength and conditioning to his job responsibilities.

The combined TP and GMKA tandom will ensure the continuation of a weak, gutless and underachieving hockey team. Neither has a clue on how to properly construct a roster that can even make the playoffs, let alone actually win in the playoffs.

2016 in particular makes me want to throw up. Nylander & Asplund (trade up) were a complete waste of draft capital. Add to that the fact we drafted Hagel and then never signed hm rubs more salt into the wound.

I'd keep Power (vs. Byrum) IF they get a legit stay at home RH defender to partner with Power. If they refuse, then trade either Power or Byrum to get a legit 1C or 2C. I get it that Byrum alone won't fetch that return by himself, so picks and/or prospects needed to be included. I know there are many who feel the Sabres score enough goals, but I think they are still lacking a playmaking center who can control play and make zone entries on the powerplay. IMHO - our powerplay will suck until they can add that type of player to the team.

We all know TP and GMKA have their heads up their a$$e$, but if they just watched even a game or two of these playoffs, how can they not understand this team isn’t remotely close to being built for the playoffs? Unfortunately, I am feeling more convinced that they don’t want to build a team capable of succeeding in the playoffs….but rather a team of soft players who lacks guts and physicality.

I wonder if the other players resented Benson being there simply because he plays with heart and guts, unlike the majority of other older and bigger players already there. The young little scrappy kid embarrassed the rest of the roster by doing the heavy lifting that others should have (but didn’t).

On a different note, I am surprised that Ruff let Appert, Wilford, etc. serve as his assistants. Once again following Adams.
